Once we had agreed upon our messaging, approach, and implementation we were able to bring in the people who are responsible for day-to-day communications whether it be developing and managing social media, and other outreach activities so that this could be presented to those who fund the program, as well as implement engaging strategies on a day-to-day basis. The benefits are that the Buchanan group is able to tailor both the facilitation and expert recommendations so that we have our very own plans, strategy, and processes so that communications can be fully managed in-house. The staff also provided special training for those who may be in particular roles whether they speak to the media, or managing social media on a day-to-day basis.
