Researching podiatrist online, Dr. Carollo's reviews were absolutely stellar, so I decided to give her a try, hoping the reviews weren't too good to be true. They absolutely weren't! Dr. Carollo is such a genuinely kind and attentive doctor. She really listened to what I was experiencing with my foot and gave me several non-invasive options to try to heal an inflamed nerve. I'm happy to report after following her recommendation and getting custom orthotics the nerve has finally healed and feels back to normal. And as an added benefit the orthotics have helped some other foot and ankle fatigue I previously experienced after working out. A win-win! Also, as a side note, the classic music in the examine rooms adds such a calming atmosphere while you're waiting. Highly recommended!! The world needs more medical providers like Dr. Carollo!!

If you make a payment keep all receipts or better yet pay with a credit card in case you lose a receipt. Any cash payments made at the office especially don't get recorded. They also tried to charge me $550 twice for PRP saying I got it done two weeks in a row when that is not even possible medically and then argued with me about it. I won't go back only because of this issue, it's not worth the hassle. It's constant and even though I have receipts to prove payments they still continue to send bills and turn it over to a creditor. It's the most unprofessional office I have ever dealt with.

I am extremely happy to report that I'm totally healed! And it only took a few months. The medication was not too expensive either. Just in time for Spring and Summer. She complains about how the office is very short staffed and not enough help to patients over the phone. Which I believe that should never be said to any patients. June 30, 2023 - Friday…read more Review #437 Last year in the Fall of 2022, my previous podiatrist from Associated Orthopedics of Detroit left the practice and he wasn't replaced. In March while working 8 hours a day on my feet, the joint pain came back especially painful at night. I was referred by my family Dr. Kavanagh in April to see a new podiatrist named Dr. Anthony Giordano. He has over 25 years experience in the medical field and is accepting new patients. My appointment was on June 14th. We chatted about my foot history, and he read over my medical forms that I completed in advance online. He went over my ex-rays and examined the joints in my toes. His answer and conclusion is that I have Arthritis starting. So I can say thank you to my Dear Mother. :-) Instead of a cortisone shot as in the past 3 years with my health issue he suggested a new type of injection treatment which is 3 weeks apart. It will slow down the wear and tear known as osteoarthritis and help replenish the joint. The fluid injection is called hyaluronic acid to provide a space filler to increase joint mobility reduce joint inflammation and help my big toe and feel better with less stiffness. So on June 14, 2023 I received it and I can say the pain is not as bad and tolerable and 2 more shots to go in 3 weeks. I will "keep it moving" by riding my bike or walking in which the pain does subside. My 2nd shot in the right foot joint area will be on July 11th, So - Oh Thank Heaven for 7-11 Slurpee Day. He informed Me that I will NOT need surgery since the bones are profound and no misalignment as seen on the ex-rays, just unhappy nerves. He has a Wonderful sense of humor which makes me laugh. In the 47 years we have been together, I think I've seen his toenails 20 times. His Dad's toenails were something I've Never seen. Can this condition be hereditary ? They must have been 3/4's of an inch thick. EWWWW...We finally got those toenails corrected. This is our Third Visit to his office, inside of Troy Beaumont Hospital. The convenience of Dr. Baessler's office being In The hospital outweighs an office, Troy Beaumont offers Valet parking, at a reasonable rate, even better, there are Wheelchairs just inside of the entrance, for non walking patients. I don't need to get his Big Wheelchair in my car, then out, then into the car again. I have my own disabilities. What a wonderful caring Doctor. Every time we have come here, Dr. Tim is so outgoing, and friendly. I'd recommend him to anyone who needs foot care. Too bad he doesn't do pedicures, he would have a line out he door.
