When I called to schedule the appointment, I specifically asked for an estimate and was told the…read morecost would be approximately $150-$200 for the hour. Unfortunately, my final bill ended up being around $400--more than double what I was expecting. There were several charges that were not clearly disclosed to me when I scheduled the service. I was charged $235 for two hours of service labor, even though the electrician performed approximately 30 minutes of actual labor. I was also charged for drive time, which I was not told would be billed as labor. In addition, I was charged $66.68 for a 30-amp electrical breaker that typically retails for approximately $21-$42, along with a $5 shop tools charge, an $88 service-call fee, and an $8 fuel surcharge. Had all of these charges been clearly explained when I asked for an estimate, I could have made an informed decision before scheduling the service. Instead, I was quoted $150-$200 and ended up with a bill of approximately $400. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency in the pricing and will not use this company again. My advice to others: always request a detailed estimate in writing before allowing any work to begin.
