When planning this family photo session, I had a vision for photos that would serve dual purposes - a Christmas card for our big family, but also a Christmas card for my Brother, Sis in Law and Luke and Rowan (my nephews). It was a "Gift to the entire family" as I saw it. I also envisioned my parents and family members turning the photos into a "statement piece" for our home (or my parents). The first thing that struck me with Amy was how easy it was to talk to her and how empathetic and personable she is. Additionally, Amy asks copious questions prior to the shoot...And these are VERY DETAILED questions. She asks every family member's name, relationship, "Gotchas", where they are from, etc. This shows and defines amy as showing genuine interest and empathy in her clients. It shows she cares. She is focused on keeping things moving and getting the best shot, but also very engaged in ensuring she connects with her audience.
