I hired Michael based on an internet search and after reviewing his website several months prior to our girls trip to NYC. We live in Alberta, Canada so was a bit nervous with hiring a stranger and was hoping it would work out. We could not have lucked out more hiring Michael!! He was so great leading up to our trip communicating via email and phone. We were celebrating a milestone birthday girls trip and when he arrived at our place we immediately felt comfortable with him. He was punctual, has an outstanding personality, so personable and beyond talented. He had great ideas and photographed each of us six girls in different ways and got so many amazing group and individual shots! He came with us in the limo and to Bar65 for cocktails! The candid shots were unreal as were the posed ones. We thoroughly enjoyed having him with us and he even helped us with suggestions for the city and offered to meet up again if we had time to do more shots around the city. He edited and had our pictures to us so quickly and was very reasonably priced especially for how talented he is. Michael was phenomenal! He made my fiancé and I feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot. He was very helpful with tips on backdrops and poses (something we were clueless about) and was able to use his creative intuition to find great spots as we moved about through our location. Neither of us wanted overly cheesy photos and we were happy that he understood that. He was also so kind to come all the way to Brooklyn for the shoot even though based in Manhattan. Michael is an amazing photographer! He is very professional, creative and fun to work with. He has a wonderful ability to capture his subjects in their best light. When you work with Michael, he takes the time to figure out what kind of photos you are looking for. From what I hear, he is quite experienced with groups, individuals, animals, landscape, etc. I'm not very comfortable in front of the camera but he managed to get some really fantastic shots of us, including our puppy who would not sit still for more than a few seconds at a time! Had a really great spring family photo-shoot experience with Michael last week. We were running a bit late, due to the parade in the city and massive traffic, and Michael was patient and accommodating, waiting for us at the photo site. We have two infants, so it was not trivial to take great shots, but Michael was great with suggestions and professional, used light when needed, and provided the feedback on the spot if the composition/picture looks good or not (branches across the face/harsh shadows), which was very useful to get the best pictures. This guy is amazing!!! My partner organised a hour photo shoot for when he proposed to me in Central Park, it was smooth sailing from start to finish. The quality of the pictures was like something you would see out of a high end magazine, he knew exactly what to do to achieve a great picture they looked natural and reflected us perfect as a couple.
