The new setup is very limited which removes the original reason I ever started going here to begin with. The new doctors seem to be nice and knowledgeable enough although they're slightly conflicting and have openly criticized work that the previous doctors (multiple doctors) had done while at the same practice. Nothing makes you second guess the quality of your dental repair or the warranty of the work like the doctor responsible for fixing it in the future looking at it and telling you it's not the best repair that could've been done. Well, lucky enough for me it's not my ton ab to fix it next time should it fail, but dude, really? They don't push business income like some other dentists that say, "Hey I see a spot that we want to keep an eye on for a while unless you just want to get it drilled out right now, it'd be $350." That's good. If that changes, I probably will stop coming here because it's not exactly convenient for me to get to, certainly without the previously flexible hours. You can't remove all of the glamour and service of a good practice that clients were used to and still keep expecting the same level of customer loyalty. 3 stars for now based on historical greatness and current operations.

They have state-of-the-art equipment, and they made my new crown right there at the facility, so no waiting, no temporary crown. I did not have any discomfort or pain during my treatment, and everything was explained to me as they worked. They seamlessly processed my insurance claim. I've been coming here for about ten years, and in the beginning it was good, and then for many years it was horrible -- the dentists were rude and unprofessional, and the staff was clearly unhappy. And now it is the best it has ever been. Just about everything / everyone is new, and the high level of professionalism, the excellent, clearly highly educated / experienced staff (front desk, dental assistants, hygienists, dentists) all show from literally the moment you walk in the door (seriously). I had the best cleaning I've ever had from Ashley; the way she explained things made sense (for the first time). I had been procrastinating seeing a dentist for over a year because I had several bad experiences and truly was scared of the dentist. I hated having the dentist and hygienists make me feel bad and then leave feeling like I fail at having teeth. Well, from the start this place was different. I needed work done (more cavities than I would like to admit to - thanks crappy former dentist) and the entire office never made me feel badly - they were so excited I was here and was able to start my dental care journey. Now the real amazing part of Dr. Clifton's practice is that he actually cares about you! He doesn't practice dentistry with money as his main motivator. For years I had put off a cosmetic procedure to fix the discoloration in my front teeth from old root canals. I have been to half a dozen other dentists that always wanted to embark on implants, crowns, and other really invasive procedures that would have cost a small fortune - not to mention scared the s*&t out of me. The first time I met with Dr. Clifton he talked to me about the possible scenarios and we both decided to just try internally bleaching - well it worked! For the first time in 16 years I have a beautiful smile and with the least amount of time, money, and no pain! Dr. Clifton won me over that day, because he could have told me the same as all the other dentists and he could have just taken my money and done a super expensive procedure on my teeth - but he didn't. He truly cares about his patients. I have even been in the office when he has been doing pro-bono work for folks who cannot afford dental care and it made me admire him and his practice even more. I now have referred my entire family to this office and everyone feels the same way. From the front desk to the chair, everyone is so kind, caring and just wonderful. Her assistant, Jackie, botched multiple fillings that had to be filed down after the fact and continue to cause problems that can't be resolved without an out-of-pocket replacement. While Summit was able to get me a new retainer, the quality is questionable at best. I sought out a female practitioner and team who advertised experience and understanding of dental anxiety, but everyone I spoke to seemed ambivalent or even confused anytime I expressed concern about money or the quality of the work that was being done. I'm stuck with subpar fillings and will have to find a new provider anyway; I would caution new patients before pursuing care here.
