The first two dentists I called didn't give me a good feeling. I called Dr Strumfeld's office and he answered the phone. We discussed my problem over the phone and he invited me in to pick up papers to come in following monday for xrays. Even leaving me with encouraging words over the phone. I arrived for xrays and was taught alot about my teeth and some misconceptions I had about my teeth. After teaching me about this stuff for over and hour he arrived upon a plan to fix my teeth fully with several extractions and fillings, for a very reasonable price. He was also very kind and inspirational, telling me that I can turn things around for my teeth and my health. It's always been hard for me to find and keep a good dentist but I respect Charles very much and hope to work with him as long as I live nearby! ***Update*** I got work done by Dr Strumfeld about two weeks ago now. He did many fillings and an extraction. He has fixed most of my problems quite affordably, and I'm feeling great about the whole situation. I rarely wait 10 minutes past my appointment time to get in to see the hygienist (though I do usually come in the earlier mornings). The woman who cleans my teeth is extremely friendly and does a great job. I really dislike going to the dentist (who doesn't??) and I've had great experiences with her. I haven't spent a lot of time with the actual dentists in the office, since they come in and do a short exam, but I've had positive experiences mostly with them as well. Overall, if you're looking for a dentist in the area, give Dr. Clemente's office a try.

Why not ‍ I'm traveling to the West Coast in a couple of weeks and just wanted them to secure the crown before I travel, I could come and address underlying issues when I get back from my trip. Got in the dentist chair, the crown was loose and hadn't come out yet. The dentist removed the crown easily, told me that she couldn't reinstall it for a number of reasons, first, there wasn't enough tooth left for the cement to hold the crown in place, second, the tooth was cracked, 3. Tooth had a cavity and needed to be pulled, 4. she couldn't re-glue the crown because if it broke, she'd be held liable. They wanted me to sign a contract on the spot that included extraction, a denture to replace the tooth and crown for a $1,000. Red Flags...I declined, took my crown and left. I went up to Dr. Richard Levin in Troy, 43 years practicing dentistry. He not only replaced the crown without issue, he gained a new client. what a relief! I'm scheduled for a full examination and cleaning when I get back from my West Coast trip. Aspen Dental is like a tooth mill. There's no way I would recommend a place like this. I feel bad for the staff because they were very nice the dentist didn't seem to care about anything except getting that bill as high as possible The dentist was all about the Benjamins. No, thanks.
