He did nothing for me. He let my statute of limitation run out, never returned my calls within a reasonable time.

Most Angelino's have read about the whole red light ticket scam that's been going on forever. Well, in good faith I decided to not ignore it as it stays on your permanent record, no need to have something come back and bite you later in life. I ended up slacking on responding to the violation and of course a $300 late fee was added. Ouch. Called up Mr. Dastrup, he got back to me the same day. Discussed the ordeal and what to do even though I had just moved out of the state. He represented me, showed up in court on my behalf twice and was able to get the ticket dismissed after getting the fine reduced by about 1/2 of the original amount, with the late fee taken off. After court and attorney fees I ended up paying about what the original ticket would have cost me, although with better piece of mind knowing the ticket would be dismissed and no point added with the completion of the five dollar traffic school class to keep my insurance rate from increasing. Beyond any phone calls he has a pretty easy online system for messaging and passing along any needed documents and is attentive. David is definitely worth the time and recommended, friendly and professional.

He is the only lawyer that I talked to willing to spend hours on phone to discuss the situation and outcome. I highly recommend this lawyer if you involved in any criminal or traffic violation.

When I first contact her I explained her our case she listened to me (even though she wasn't sure we were going to hire her) she never rushed me, took time to listen to our long n emotional case. She made me feel like I was talking to a friend. She guided us all a long through the process made it simple for us by writing down step by step (with details) what we needed to do in order get our case dismissed. Which She did this week .she got both our cases dismissed. Can't be happier. thank you Ann. I have my peace of mind back :) Definitely 5 stars !!

I then began searching for a new attorney and spoke with several specialists before finding Ann Gottesman. From our very first phone conversation and meeting at her office, I knew I could completely trust her with my case. After thoroughly reviewing my situation, Ann honestly explained that because of my prior record and the circumstances of my case, the chances of getting my charge reduced were extremely low. She was straightforward and did not want me to spend unnecessary attorney fees pursuing unrealistic expectations. Even so, I asked her to continue and do everything possible for my case. Throughout the entire process, Ann guided me step by step and clearly explained everything I needed to do. English is my second language, but she always took the time to make sure I fully understood every detail. She consistently kept me informed about updates in my case and responded promptly whenever I texted or emailed her. Ann is calm, knowledgeable, professional, and highly respected. It was clear to me that her experience and communication skills carried significant weight with the district attorney's office. After nearly a year of persistent work -- including personal conversations, texts, and emails with the district attorney supervisor -- she was eventually able to negotiate a reduced charge for my case. One thing I learned from this experience is how important it is to have an attorney who is familiar with the court system, judges, and district attorneys. Everything I read in Ann's reviews turned out to be completely true. By the end of my case, the outcome itself almost became secondary because I was so impressed by Ann's dedication, honesty, and hard work. She truly treated my case as if she genuinely cared about me as a person, not just as a client. She went above and beyond in every aspect and even continued to help and support me after the case was over. Ann deserves far more than 5 stars -- not only because she achieved a favorable result, but because she truly cares about her clients. If you need legal representation, I highly recommend Ann Gottesman. She is the one attorney who will genuinely help and support you every step of the way.

(I refuse to be a victim if I can prevent it). Being new to the legal system I reached out to the Law office of Jerry Nicholson. Jerry was very detail oriented and explained the process very clearly. The case was not filed. I feel the experience and background speaks for itself. I don't plan on needing his services again in this lifetime, but life throws you wicked curveballs from time to time. It's comforting to know that I he's got my back. Thank you Jerry.

Avoid This Lawyer at All Costs…read more If you're in legal trouble, please -- do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This lawyer was by far the most unprofessional and unstable individual I've ever encountered in a legal setting. Let me start with this: he doesn't own a computer. That means any digital evidence you have won't be reviewed unless you bring your own laptop to show him. No exaggeration -- his office has no computer. At one meeting-- which I arrived at late due to a college midterm -- I had forgotten my laptop. He immediately went on the offensive, accusing me of being on drugs, saying, "What drug is it, huh?" Just for being late and not bringing my laptop. The irony? He doesn't even have one himself. During that preliminary hearing, he began angrily muttering under his breath, not just at me, but at the other defendant and even the judge. His behavior was so inappropriate and disruptive that the judge had to stop the proceedings and tell him to calm down. While I understand he is a military veteran, it was clear in that moment that he was emotionally unstable and unfit to be representing anyone in court. I paid this man $7,000, and in return, he showed up completely unprepared. He hadn't reviewed the evidence and even failed to recognize me in a video presented during the hearing -- a deeply embarrassing and telling mistake. To make matters worse, he was a no-show at the next scheduled hearing. The judge questioned his legitimacy, and my new attorney was left scrambling, with no documentation or case materials passed on. Total chaos. His office -- hidden away in a dark, unwelcoming corner -- reflects the disarray and dysfunction of his entire practice. He's aggressive, disorganized, and treats both his clients and staff with open disrespect. This was the worst professional experience I've ever had. Save your money, time, and sanity. You deserve a lawyer who will advocate for you, not one who humiliates and abandons you.
