When I asked Dr. for antibiotic to help with infection. I was told no, thats just a band aid. The assistant (Kim) had no mask and coughed all over the place. She dragged the xray equipment across my forehead twice. The last time I left they told me my portion was $198. (I have Insurance) When I asked why, I paid $3100 in July...they could not tell me why. Pay us $198, but we dont know why??? NIGHTMARE! This is just the quick version. It was really even worse. If I could give minus stars I would. This place should be shut down!

Firstly, I loved the dentist and dental hygienist at this office; therefore 3 stars. HOWEVER, if…read moreyou plan on using dental insurance please be aware that they ONLY contract with Humana PPO. They will tell you they accept all insurance, but that only means they will send in 'courtesy' claims on behalf of the patient. They do not reduce their rates to what dental insurance companies allow other than Humana. Be prepared for an extravagant bill if you have a few fillings, cleaning, X-rays, and a crown done. We will be finding a reasonable dentist closer to home.

This is the first & only time that I was told it would be an extra charge for MY supposed dentist to come in for 5 minutes. It was weird & off putting when the realization came that this practice was not just about dental health but also about maximizing profits vs. building relationships. After having the same hygienist for 20+ years & the same dentist for 10 (they both retired), it's a harsh reminder of how little my business & loyalty actually means in 2022. My hygienist was wonderful & I liked her very much. I look forward to seeing her again. Like my previous hygienist, I would follow her to another practice; I followed my last hygienist to 3 different practices.

Fine, I say let's keep the appointment and see how he feels later. They say "nope, sorry he cannot come in and he is banned for a year". Foster children have very challenging and ever changing lives that require flexibility for all parties. All Smiles Family Dental treated my son like a 2nd class citizen like so many others have. If it's ever a wonder why inner city children have some of the worst dental hygiene issues of any demographic, it probably starts with places like Family Dental that show a lack of grace and flexibility to the least of these. Truly disheartening how this place treats the most broken of children.
