The estate sale individual left the front door of my parents home, neighbor called me and someone was wandering around inside, police were called. Her company took cash, no record of invoices of what she sold from inside the home, just the amount of her commissions paid, strange? I took photos of my mother's jewelry that I turned into Eric, 3 pieces of my mothers jewelry were not on his inventory sheet I told his secretary no return phone call to me. I believe he never paid for lost jewerly! Worst thing was when the checks were distributed from the sale of the home no attached documents where all the money went? While the outcome of my case was satisfactory, the experience getting there was anything but. Throughout the process, I felt left in the dark and unsupported. My attorney: * Changed my arraignment date and informed me after the fact * Was late to multiple court appearances, including my plea and sentencing * Failed to obtain the PSI report in time for sentencing * Filed a motion on my behalf without explaining what it was or getting my approval * Didn't help me prepare for sentencing (I had to research character letters myself) * Frequently failed to communicate in a timely or respectful manner When I raised these concerns, I received a defensive and dismissive response -- no accountability, no willingness to address the lack of professionalism. Just a blanket refusal to offer even a partial refund or apology. Hiring a lawyer is about more than just the outcome -- it's about trust, communication, and showing up. In those areas, I was deeply let down. I wouldn't recommend this firm based on my experience.
