My daughter hired Ms. Pylypiw as her attorney for her divorce…read more Ms. Pylypiw was disorganized, passive and inattentive. She is quite competent when it comes to knowing the law. However, when it comes time to gather the facts, correspond with the opposing legal team and fight for her client, she falls short. Many times when meeting with my daughter she had to refresh her memory of the case, asking my daughter to repeat information and searching through stacks of paper looking for specific documents (while charging us by the hour). Her written skills were inadequate and I actually had to rewrite several of her documents for her. My husband made spreadsheets/timelines for her as well. I really question the number of hours that we were charged in this matter as it seems that most of the work was done by us. She made little effort to try to get an equitable outcome on this divorce and, in fact, my daughter ended up paying the price. I would not recommend Ms. Pylypiw as a divorce attorney.

He was supposed to file an additional motion in October 2021, was paid $500 to do so, never filed and I requested a refund. 2 months later, he told me he sent the money to another client and had to get that money back before he could send my refund. Requested statements of how the money that I paid him was allocated, and never received the information. I still have not received my money back. Once the final court date and paperwork was completed in May 2022, I was awarded money in attorney fees. The other party sent the check to Mr. Andoni within in 3 days of the final order, who cashed the check, never sent me the money, and when I inquired about not receiving the money from the other party, he told me that he could file an additional Show Cause (for more $ of course) to find out why the order wasn't followed (knowing all along that he had already received the money!) He is VERY poor at communication; returning phone calls or emails RARELY happens, if at all. He is NEVER prepared when it is time for court... always a last minute conversation not remembering what he should present for your case. Please consider another attorney before being a victim of Mr. Andoni. After doing some research, anyone who has been scammed by Mr. Andoni can do 2 things; File a formal grievance with the Attorney Grievance Commission for attorney misconduct and the Client Protection Fund for unearned fees resulting in the loss of money, property, or other things of value.

He has stopped answering/returning my phone calls and will not answer emails either. On the rare occasion that I was able to speak to him, by calling his office with another number so he wouldn't know it was me, or just showing up at his office, he has given me false hope that he was just about to file that week, every week. He still hasn't. I'm now on the hunt for a new lawyer that can actually do their job in a timely fashion, as he definitely cannot.
