I can't even rate her. she is a horrible attorney. no professional skills whatsoever. she used a scare tactic with my son to get him to fold. had enough balls to have him ask us for the 1,000. for her service. that is a big no. she shouldn't be paid for anything. I am sure that she gets money from the state. she brought me into the situation and I should have never been brought up. doesn't think it's ok to call CPS when you witness 3,4 and 10 year old being left in a car by themselves in downtown Flint for about 2 hours. while mother and her boyfriend was in the courthouse. I asked her if she ever visited the kids at school to talk to them without parent knowing. the look on her face said it all. she couldn't even answer the question. you see I have witness my granddaughters being threaten if they ever say that if they were ever left in a cart in the middle of Walmart which was true . that they will be taken to the hood left naked and have no food , no clothes nothing to sleep on. they will be with a man of color. not the word used , and where they do drive by shootings. she thinks it's ok if little girls are touched and fondled. and perfectly ok to let drunk 17 year old boys sleep on the floor with 3 young girls under the age of 8. while parents went to bed. she said I am a problem because I called Cps on these things. plus more than that. I am a mandated reporter. have been since the age of 19 with my jobs. she told my son if I call one more time the police will come and no matter what I will set 90 days in jail. I am red flagged . sorry i will call Cps if I see a real reason to call. cps knows this I went down town and spoke with a manager. she said it is my responsibility to call if I see anything wrong with kids. she tried saying I am a problem with my social media posts. the ones that I posted against anyone was in content to what they posted on their accounts. but of course they delete those posts so she can't see them. but I have them all. including the one that they posted on a motorcycle flint group that my son is a child sexual assault person. she didn't wanna see that . she jumped back. now we live with the fact that anyone crazy enough to believe such a thing has a copy of his old facebook account. name picture and everything. even had the pictures of his two girls on that one. nice job Judy If it takes me the rest of my life I will get this lady out of her position and will work my hardest to help reform genesee county CPS because they suck and don't care about the children . and when it's too late they don't take accountability. read more

I had Attorney Griffiths as a mediator in April 2024. Part of the agreement with the biological father who is a convicted child sex offender was that any visitation would be supervised and Miss Griffiths was opposed to facilities who did such facilitation so due to her and the father's opposition it was suggested that I be mediator despite his prior assault on me. Miss Griffiths used a blanket template to create our order and as such forgot the word supervised. Despite the prior domestic violence and assault and his criminal sexual convictions and my attorneys request for us to remain separated we were placed together and because I was next to the man who beat me and my " dominant" I was terrified. I wanted nothing but to leave. And as verbally it was conveyed to me that the order was what we had said it was I signed and left. Something I will never forgive myself for. I was not made aware of this fact of the incorrectly written order until about a month after which is just after the grace period allotted by the courts. Miss Griffiths refused to acknowledge her mistake, instead she called the biological father who assured her that the mother would be present at every visit which satiated her "concern". She then denied the agreement and her office violating her code of ethics and put the minor child in immense risk. Less than 7 months later the 18 month old child was suspected by her therapist to have been raped by said biological father. I don't want anything from this attorney but the truth which she is sworn by her code of ethics to provide. I don't care if she says it was a clerical error that made her made the mistake I just want her to acknowledge the true mediated agreement and my child to never ever be put at risk again. From what I've read of other reviews I do not foresee that happening though my hope for her concern for an innocent child will outweigh any concern for herself or any mistake she might have made. At one time I thought her mistake unforgivable but now my only concern is my child. My baby and I should not be in this predicament. Attornies should be held to the highest standard of truth, morality, and law. I implore Ms. Griffiths to do so not for herself but for the innocent baby she had an obligation to who has suffered immensely because she did not. read more

Julie Griffiths is by far the worst guardian ad litem I have ever encountered. She is dishonest, biased, and consistently stands by her own lies rather than seeking the truth. Throughout the process, she was disrespectful, condescending, and outright rude. Her investigation was shockingly one-sided. She only interviewed individuals aligned with one parent, completely ignoring anyone who could provide a different or opposing perspective. When speaking with my daughter--who has repeatedly alleged abuse by her mother and stepfather--Ms. Griffiths failed to ask any meaningful or relevant questions. Instead, she stuck to surface-level topics like "Do you like school?" or "Do you have friends?" A guardian ad litem's responsibility is to represent the best interests of the child. Unfortunately, Ms. Griffiths showed no interest in fulfilling that duty. Instead, her actions reflected only her own self-interest. To make matters worse, if you dare to challenge her on her rudeness or bias, she will twist your words and use them against you in the most dishonest way possible. If you are looking for someone who will genuinely advocate for your child, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Julie Griffiths does not uphold the integrity or responsibility required of a guardian ad litem. read more

Terrible Guardian Ad Litem. She was unresponsive and took over a year to complete her report for court. Court dates were adjourned because of her lack of effort. She charged us for work she did not do. It took her over 6 months to contact my witnesses. She committed perjury in her testimony. She is a dishonest and conniving person. It is unimaginable that someone like her can practice law at all. If she did this to during my divorce case as the GAL, then I can only imagine what she has done in other cases. A terrible person that has power over others. Please do not use her and if you did file a grievance against her with the state bar. read more

I see others experienced the same poor experience my family member experienced. Rude unethical and unprofessional. Sets kids up for RETALATORY ABUSE! Known in shelters even in other counties as being prejudice against domestic violence victims and setting joint appointments with abusers and then expecting the victim not to be triggered by the abusers covert abuse, which she ALLOWS.
