Stephanie is a true testament to this. We are SO lucky to have found her. We LOVE her work and she is a true gem of a human to work with. She has been nothing but accommodating, responsive, and timely, (both with the shoot and sending proofs, sharing information, etc.). She was also understanding when she arrived as scheduled for our shoot, but my newborn was still feeding. I felt terrible, but she just gets it. And of course, while I could rave about her kind-heartedness, passion, and professionalism, her talent speaks for itself. Her newborn photography style is sophisticated, natural, and comfortable. It is not articulated or contrived. She has a true eye for lighting and the right angles. Additionally, she guided us through the whole process, from styling to sending us a pre-shoot guide, on how to declutter your space, prepare for photo day, ease your newborn into it, and what to expect. She was transparent with pricing (definitely on the high end, but worth the splurge) and offers various packages based on your budget. If you haven't guessed it by now... I would highly recommend her. Note: We did this (after much deliberation and concern) during Covid-19. Our baby was only 2.5 weeks old. We did an in-home shoot. She came to us. Prior to the shoot, she explained how cautious she is and how she sanitizes everything and prioritizes the baby's safety first. Having completed the shoot, she definitely did. She was respectful of our concerns and did not take anything personally at all. Of course, we all wore masks and she confirmed that she asks her clients about their exposure and any symptoms they could be experiencing. It was comforting to know she checked in with other clients and was open and transparent with us. She brought her own props that were cleaned but we mostly used our own. If she had not taken these precautions, or another vendor had done less, I can say that we definitely would not have gone ahead with the shoot, but she made us comfortable during a difficult time. So I made the trek from Haymarket up to Rockville on a Saturday to check things out. To my dismay, upon my arrival, I find the place is NOT open and a visit to their showroom is ONLY available via appointment. While the appointment reference is on their web site - I somehow missed this. In any case, most businesses in the area around them are open on Saturday (without an appointment!). I may revisit this review if I can ever manage to take a day off on a weekday to make an appointment. For now - not very customer friendly = FAIL.

My wife I talked about getting a great garage for years. We finally did it. We hired GarageTek for…read morethey job -- and we are very pleased. They covered the walls with their white panel (no maintenance material!)Then we choose a combination of cabinets , shelves, hooks, brackets, baskets and racks -- all of which attach to the wall panel. This is key, as now our garage floor is pretty empty and all the clutter is gone! Our kids (and our stupid mutt) cant get to the dangerous stuff any longer as its high n the wall and out of their reach. Now we can get both cars in the garage too -- even the big SUV fits. The install was pretty easy. We met at our house with a designer named Pam and she created a plan on the CAD software system. We tweaked it a bit until it looked about right. Then they came back 2 weeks later and installed the system in 2 days. Everyone showed up just when they said they would and (bonus!) they all speak English (so do we!) Once the system was installed we tweaked it a bit more. This easy since it is all modular and the storage bits can be swapped and exchanged readily. Now it looks they way we wanted and we have storage space for all of our stuff. Also, they use high quality materials like PVC and other special advanced plastics we don't have worry about rust or warping or rot. Total cost for our regular sized 2 car garage was just under $10k, but we plan to add the flooring in the spring to complete the room and really have the whole enchilada. So the cost is not cheap, but it was about half of what we spent on remodeling our smallest bathroom -- and it gets the cars off the street so we can finally use the 400 square feet of garage that we paid for when we built the house. My brother in law is an appraiser and he recommended GarageTek because he said they pay their own way at resale time.
