My husband and I love car museums, and this was a great one. I speak German, but my husband does…read morenot, so I appreciated how much signage was in English. We learned so much about cars, trains, bicycles, and delivery vehicles here. For example, I learned why the Audi TT is so named: because the Audi company had merged with a company that had success in the "Tourist Trophy" races. Most of the cars are behind ropes, but they are spaced out such that you can get a good look at them from all sides. We spent three hours here because we are "read every sign" kind of people. I appreciated that they had vending machines for snacks and beverages, because I got hungry mid-adventure.
My favorite sections were the wall with the history of bicycle wheels and the area with the interactive demonstrations of the components of a car. Yes, I do want to see how a rotary engine works!
