I have been under Doctor Beadle's excellent care for last 4 years, he is a very knowledgeable,…read moreprofessional and very caring doctor. Doctor Beadle and his medical assistant Erika went the extra mile to help me working with my insurance to get that medication I needed. All of Doctor Beadle's staff is friendly, respectable, kind and helpful. I really appreciate Doctor Beadle and his team helping me with my health! They are the best!!! I highly recommend them!!!!

We've always received compassionate care, respectful interaction & comfort in knowing that our Dr cared about us as human beings. That changed with our most recent move to Dr. Eric Beadle. Our PCP before was Dr. Kathleen Humphries. She was kind, empathetic & she listened to our concerns, always looking for ways to put us at ease, help us understand the HealthPlan she recommended & answered our questions with patience & concern. She always went beyond the boundaries of black & white, to customize our care to our special needs. For example, we've had times in the past where the blood pressure medicines that I was on just didn't seem to do the job but we always worked to find the right balance, to get it back under control. During the times when it was "out of whack", she instructed her staff to approve my refills on those medications, even if I couldn't get in right away, because she was truly concerned about my health. Not a rigid policy of having to actually see me in person to authorize a medication refill. Any time that she was concerned about my HBP readings, she would call me, to see what we needed to do. I truly admired how she put my care first & treated me as she would treat her own family. Unfortunately for us, she retired. That care & compassion is what we have come to expect since all of our Doctors seemed to carry that same desire to form relationships with their patients, beyond the Patient File. The Doctor before her, who also left the practice, was also kind, compassionate, caring, respectful & decent. He was a good man, as well as a good Doctor. All of the descriptions above would not apply to our recent experience with Dr. Beadle. My Pharmacy had sent over refill requests for my BP medicines & they were denied several times. The Pharmacy said that they had no explanation & suggested I email the Doctor, to find out what happened. Our Pharmacy was so kind that they actually loaned me a few pills, thinking it was just an error. I messaged Dr. Beadle's office through MyChart & explained that I had been without my medications, that my BP was spiking daily and I told them how it was affecting my health. I told them that I thought it was cruel that my refills were being denied without any explanation & reminded them that they take an Oath "to do no harm". I explained that Dr. Humphries always approved my refills because of my issues with BP in the past & I told them that I was now regretting our switch to his office since she retired. I have been suffering without those medicines. What I received shocked me. I expected a response, providing a reason for the denials but also perhaps an apology for not getting those filled sooner, knowing my health issues, or at least questions, to see how I was. Instead I received a message, from Dr. Beadle saying that he would fill my Rx for 30 days in order to give me time to find a new Doctor. He even blocked me from being able to see another Dr. in the same Office. My jaw dropped. In my 20+ years seeing Doctors at all levels of Specialty within the Methodist System for our family, from Surgeons to Neurologists to Pulmonologists, I've never been treated so unprofessionally. I had not cursed, insulted or threatened anyone at the practice. I had not messaged or called incessantly or harassed anyone. I had only expressed frustration & fear for my health, as chronic HBP can cause Strokes, damage your kidneys, cause anemia, non-stop headaches, etc. Uncontrolled HBP is dangerous. I messaged once & that was his response. He basically said to me, "Not happy? Go somewhere else." That is not professional. That is not compassionate. That is not empathetic. That is not kind. His response was cruel, immature, petty. Once again, I have never experienced this type of behavior from ANY Doctor in the Methodist system, until Dr. Beadle. I am filing a Complaint with the Texas Medical Board & would not recommend him to anyone.
