He was cordial, but cold, where most doctors I've experienced are super nice, bubbly, & go out of their way to make you feel good.. Dr. Iverson was just different!! When my dentist recommended this treatment I visited and interviewed four practices in the DMV and none could compare with Iverson's for convenience (appointment times and parking) or price. More importantly, I have been thrilled with the care. Dr. Iverson and Dr. Wahab are kind and patient and go out of their way to explain every procedure and make sure you are comfortable and participating in the decisions being made regarding the type and duration of your treatment. While I have seen one of the doctors each visit, it is the technicians that enrich your experience and they are all very special in their own way. I never had an interaction with a technician or an administrative person that wasn't friendly or positive. Despite COVID and the office's remodel they were always upbeat and helpful. It was the technicians who gave me special tips on which type of flosser (Platypus Ortho) to purchase or where to buy wax. Once when I broke a bracket during the Christmas holiday and the office was taking calls but not seeing patients, a technician came out to my car and clipped a loose wire so it would stop poking the inside of my cheek and I wouldn't be miserable until I could get it repaired. I can recommend Iverson Orthodontics with high praise.

After this I paid half of what was owed as well as my monthly payments. Second issue I walk in and check my daughter in and the first thing out of the receptionist mouth was are you going to make that 50 dollar payment it wasnt hi welcome in she was very blunt and rude about it . so i called her annoying and the other gal who laughed in my face last time. Then she started to be loud with me and we went back and forth and she denied being rude . They can simply call you before your apt and take care of financial issues and be more polite about especially when you have two kids braces your paying for out of pocket . Its embarrassing to ask in front of other patients . She was rude and she knew very well she was being rude about it. even my daughter said she was being rude and felt embarrassed the way she asked for the payment. I see them do this to a lot of patients while I'm in the waiting room . They can simply be professional and try work out any issue or speak politely and you shouldn't have to feel bullied or embarrassed.

Long story short-we had to go to the orthodontic office to have the top half removed, then drive to a different office to have dental work done, then drive back to the orthodontic office to have the top braces put back on several times-in the same day (3 or 4-I don't remember now). It's been nothing but a pain, and all the while they call me and hound me over the missed payments. I believe YOU owe ME, for selling me a large investment that you knew was wrong and should not have been initiated that day, and taking my money that very day just to get a sale knowing that she needed dental work..!! We tried to handle it responsibly by starting him on antibiotics and waiting two months for an appointment that fit around his demanding work schedule. Fast forward to today--our appointment was set for 1:00 PM. We arrived at 1:05 PM, only to be told by the front desk that there were 3 or 4 patients ahead of him--even though this was already our second trip here without being seen, and his situation was marked as an emergency. By 2:15 PM, we asked for an update on our 1:00 PM appointment, and were then informed there were now SIX patients ahead of him. How does that even happen? This experience has cost our family precious time, income from his job, and inflicted unnecessary stress. He even suffered a panic attack, which elevated his heart rate and blood pressure. Thank you, Western Dental, for adding to our family's stress with your misleading communication, for seeming to prioritize insurance claims over patient care, and for ultimately causing my partner's health to deteriorate even further that day. Really appreciate it (sarcasm). And one more thing--an insider who used to work there let me know the call center is actually overseas. Each Western Dental location has its own direct number, so make sure you're speaking with the clinic you plan to visit. If you're routed through the company's outsourced staff in another time zone, they often have no real information about your appointment. This setup is just about saving money for the company, not ensuring quality care.

They should have done that the first visit, especially being an hour away. Had me get a waiver from my heart specialist and then when presented, still refused to remove a tooth that has a hole in it. Nope. The dentist even joked about pulling one tooth each visit because I want them all out. I have a serious neck injury and they scoffed at me, while showing them why I have high blood pressure.
