It's pretty rare that I write a rating on an insurance agency but the gentleman I worked with was truly a standout and I had to comment on it. I previously filled out a request for an online insurance quote for my car insurance. I received a return phone call from Anthony D'Angelo. We got into a conversation and he quoted me both car and motorcycle insurance premiums that were lower than what I had through Allstate and Mercury. But the best part was his patience level and willingness to answer questions. He was also incredibly honest about other companies--their pros and cons. He really went above and beyond to address my concerns, answer questions, and explain everything. I haven't found that before in an insurance carrier. He wrote up both policies over the phone and even sent me the binder and coverage cards via email after we hung up. I was so impressed with this guy. Give Anthony a call. Firstly, State Farm insurance is not accredited with the BBB. Lots of consumer complaints out there. But if you still wish to gamble with State Farm, avoid Michael D'Angelo or you will spend lots of time trying to fix his mistakes. This agent refuses to correct our last name spelling on our various policies. 2 foreign autos and a big homeowners. After numerous requests to Michael to have him correct our name spelling on the policies, even in person right there in front of Michael, we still received policies in the mail with the incorrect spelling of our last name, as well as the incorrect first name for homeowners. Unbelievable that this insurance agent is allowed to represent State Farm insurance and write up new policies. read more

Michael D'Angelo has been my State Farm agent for the past 8 years and I must say, he really does provide the level of service that you see advertised in the commercials. Before I switched to State Farm, I was insured with small, disreputable insurance company solely for the afforable rates. When I switched to State Farm, I saved even more money than I had been saving before- which I definitely was not expecting! Michael is always ready and willing to assist, he is knowledgeable, and he explains difficult insurance topics in a way that makes sense. I recently went to Michael D'Angelo's State Farm Insurance agency as I needed a "professional liability" policy. My current agency (not State Farm) was not responding to my request in a timely fashion. I'd been waiting 21 days when I finally went to Michael. He delivered a very competitive quote in 4 days. My current agency got back to me at day 28. Michael's quote was 15% lower. Last week I went to Michael to discuss a Commercial Package for an apartment building I own. He's quoted me an almost 50% savings from what I'm currently paying (again the same agency that was so slow addressing my needs). Obviously I'll be moving that insurance to State Farm too. I can't say enough good things about Michael. He's a great communicator, easy to get in contact with and very, very responsive. I highly recommend his agency! read more

I needed an insurance agent and had no idea whom to call. I looked at Yelp for some options, shopped around, and went with Michael. He got us great pricing on our home and auto insurance policies, and he was clear, enthusiastic, kind, and respectful. When we bought a new car, I sent him an email with the VIN, and he called within 1 minute, asked 2-3 questions, congratulated us on the car, and sent the new insurance card while we were still on the phone. I honestly don't know what you could ask for in terms of service that Michael does not provide. I had no personal connection to him, his family, or State Farm before, but I couldn't be more satisfied. Probably the best thing is that I don't have to worry about insurance questions. I switched from another State Farm agent to Michael after an accident a few years ago. I couldn't get my agent on the phone at all in an emergency, and Michael actually ended up helping me handle my claim even though he wasn't my agent. He is nearly always available (and if he isn't gets back to you quickly) and is such a kind person. I have both my auto and business insurance through him and my mom uses him as well and both of us have only had amazing experiences and know that we're covered properly. I always used brokers in the past and I thought I was getting the best price. I never knew that much about State Farm. I like a person that believes in what he sells and Michael really sold me! This is the first time I've ever written a review but I am thrilled to be telling everyone about my wonderful insurance agent, Michael D'Angelo. Before finding Michael I was with an agent that was awful. Never returned phone calls or listened to my questions or showed concern for our needs. Now I am with an agent who is absolutely amazing!!!!. I recently purchased a new car. I had my heart set on a particular make and model only to find it was way above my budget. I didn't know where to go from that point then realized I had a great source to ask for help. I called Michael for advice. Not only does he know about insurance but he is a great source of information about cars. In his warm and friendly manner he suggested a couple of different cars and what to look for. Because of his help I found the best car with everything I wanted in the price I could afford. He patiently answered each and every question I asked never once making me feel that I was bothering him or interfering with his other clients.
