I was not contacted until the evening prior, around 530 pm, and they left a VM. They did not leave the appropriate call back number. I was routed to another number, the medical office, and I was told an outside firm completes their intakes. I was simply trying to coordinate available times, and make sure the intake was done prior to the appointment. There is no way to get a hold of the intake staff, no call back number, no voicemail (VM is not even set up to accept messages). I kept getting the run-around between the intake staff and the provider's office. Since they failed to coordinate the intake, I complained to the appointment clerk, as the appointment was fast-approaching and stated I could provide the doctor with my injury history first-hand, and they said that was fine, that the visit may take a little longer than usual to gather the background info., as the intake firm was not doing their due diligence in terms of contacting me and trying to coordinate the needed intake. I was then phoned by my attorney's office and told that this medical office refused to take me as a new patient, because I was "not a good fit", because they failed to do a timely intake, and because I complained about the lack of communication, untimely intake coordination and unprofessionalism. So, they decided to blame me, the patient, for their failure. The medical office LIED to me, had agreed to see me, and complete an in-office intake, then later retracted what they agreed on and refused to see me. On top of all that, they repeatedly misspelled my name, and had trouble translating my birthdate from double-digit year format to 4-digit year format. They conveniently left out all of these pertinent details when speaking with my attorney's office. Very disappointing, frustrating and infuriating experience!! DO NOT bother with them! I was treated poorly and unjustly, and will be filing a complaint with the BBB.
