She has been going to the "the best hair Solon in Peoria" for a long time and almost always Lisa is the stylist who sees her. Almost always Stephanie is the receptionist who handles our appointments. I have two observations to share: 1. Her hair looks beautiful after every visit. She loves it. I love it. That's worth the trip in itself. But there is more. 2. She is treated with sensitivity and love. It is more than customer care; it is human caring and understanding and patience. There is no fee that can buy that. It comes from another motivation. If you want quality of service that is packaged with character, look no further. I will never take her anywhere else. How can you beat the best? The service at Gemini of Chicago is one of the best bargains in all of Peoria. Gratefully, Al Bell, Peoria, AZ

I arrived and We got started, she asked me how light do you want your hair? I said I wanted it light. So she basically did a blonde orange balayage and rinsed my hair and cut it. I expressed than it's not really what I asked for and she agreed that she should have read the messages and asked me to return to let her fix it. I returned a few days later she put more bleach on the ends which was okay I like the ends lighter and she poured very dark almost black brown dye on my head and blended after rinsing she added more bleach trying to make things even. I asked is the brown/blonde even all the way around? She said yeah I'm trying to get it blended good. Then she rinsed dried and curled my hair, she showed me the hair and it looked ok. I gave her $10 to buy lunch as a thanks you and left. When I got home I finished helping with our yard sale and showered only to find that my hair looked terrible! It was no where near even. I messaged Lesley the same day and expressed how upset I was that I can't even wear my hair down and I paid so much money for this. I asked for a HALF refund, considering she spent time on my hair. She ignored me for a week finally I called her and she said she would look at the messages and let me know...she sounded like she was blaming me for my hair looking bad. She later texted and told me she will not give me a refund. The reviews are right Lesley has a great personality and was kind but I found it almost deceiving to curl my hair so I wouldn't notice how uneven it was and then to deny a refund. Below is before, what I asked for and what I got.

Aisha was welcoming, professional and knew exactly what I should/could do with the style that she picked for me. She's very nice and keeps her place clean, which can be difficult when you're dealing with hair. It was almost like being back home and getting my hair done by my aunt. I'm recommending Aisha (Yass Braiding) to everyone that asks me. She's only 15 minutes away. I'm glad that I found Aisha. I was tired of going to the salon, getting a hairstyle that wouldn't last two weeks in the Arizona heat. Besides, my beautician is no longer at the shop and I have no way of getting in touch. Too bad, the salon's lost is Aisha's gain. I suppose things do happen for a reason.
