Food: I ordered the Pollo Jalisco that was recommended by the staff and I should have ordered something else. It was pan fried skirt chicken with ham, and cheese in the middle. It tasted like a cordon blue but why would you even want that at a Mexican restaurant. Tasted more like American food than anything else. I wouldn't order this again. Decent Food, but Watch the Pricing The food was pretty good--good in that way that all Mexican food is good -- and the service was fast and friendly. No complaints there! However, I did run into a small issue with the queso. I ordered the small size (pictured below, though sorry for the half-eaten look LOL. I was starving and forgot to take a picture before eating.). The small was perfect for one person. The menu listed it at $3.99, but my bill showed $4.79. I understand inflation and all that, but if I had known it was nearly $5 for such a small portion, I probably would've just gotten my food to go and picked up a full jar of queso from the grocery store instead lol. This Mexican Restaurant was recommended by the owners of Sugar Creek Campground so we decided to have dinner here. When we arrived at 5:30pm, there were just a couple of cars in the parking lot. We were seated at a booth by a window, but noticed a server closing the blinds of all the remaining windows, so it was dark and a bit gloomy inside. There is no outside seating. We ordered margaritas. My wife had the Blue Raspberry on the rocks and I had a blended mango. Curiously , her drink was $1.50 more than mine. I was unable to taste any tequila in my drink so I asked the server if mine was premixed, but she said no, they're made to order, and asked if I wanted it remade or offered to bring a shot to our table, which I chose to do. After adding it to my drink it was perfect and delicious! My wife ordered 3 chicken enchiladas with cheese sauce served with refried beans, Mexican rice, and simple salad with guacamole, tomato, and sour cream. There was no cheese sauce inside the enchiladas so they were dry. I had a chile relleno stuffed with cheese, a chicken enchilada poblano, and a beef quesadilla served with the sides mentioned previously. My fave was the quesadilla with nicely seasoned shredded beef. Meals are served with complimentary chips and salsa that were fresh and delicious. This is pretty much ordinary Mexican fare you'd eat at most Mexican restaurants with plentiful portions and reasonable pricing. read more

Food is great and service is friendly. This place is always welcoming, clean, and a happy place to eat.

Good food and sevice. I was amongst a large group of 11, and we were all in and out within an hour and a half. Best burrito I have had in a long time at any Mexican restaurant. Chps n salsa was good as well. Stop in and enjoy. read more

Have visited multiple times, most recently on 10/31/18. Arrived before the trick-or-treating crowd, which was nice. To be honest I've never had a bad meal here. I've grown up in Crawfordsville Indiana. I was always recommended Rancho Bravo, however, I was hesitant. After years of recommendations I finally gave it a chance. The service was great. The food was really good and fairly priced. WAS really good... however the chips were over cooked. This not only ruined the salsa, but dampened the quality of the main course, as the Ranchero Nacho's used the same batch of chips as the salsa (starter). They were bad enough that I'd leave a 2.5 if I could. I would eat here again, if the chips were better. read more

This place sucks ass. Worst Mexican restaurant in the history of mankind. One thing I'll hand to them is their dishes, when served, look just like the pictures in their photos. Unfortunately for them, the food looks disgusting in the photos, soooooo. Yeah No. I guess it's easy to be lazy about what you serve to your customers in these areas, after all, this is Bumfuck, Indiana and the bar for Mexican food here is set pretty damn low. The worst Mexican dinner, perhaps the worst meal, ever. Chips were stale, and they were out of gin and tonic. Ordered our dinner, mine the spinach enchiladas, my husband the chili relleno plate, specifying no chicken. The waiter comes back, they are out of spinach. So, I say I'll just share some of the chillies, just bring beans and rice. Everything is lukewarm and one of the chilies has chicken. We gave up. The waiter pointed out that they had removed the spinach enchiladas from the bill, wow! $6 for my beans and rice. At least we weren't stuffed when we left. On a diet, this is your place. I couldn't give zero stars, too bad. read more
