Food and drinks were great! Staff very nice. Right across the highway from my hotel. Nice ambiance.

I can officially say after two visits, this is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants ever! They have a thinner tortilla chip (which is the style I prefer), and when they give you salsa they simply leave a bottle and an empty bowl for each person at the table. No more sharing/rationing your salsa, as here you get as much as you want in your own bowl. During my first visit, I believe I ordered dish #65, which was chicken with fajita veggies and mushrooms topped with cheese and served with rice, beans, and a salad. While I skipped the rice (not my thing), I devoured everything else on that plate. The veggies were fresh, the chicken well seasoned, the cheese was tasty, and the beans were very good. It was one of the best meals I had had from a Mexican restaurant in a long time. The second visit I ordered three street tacos, one carnitas, one al pastor, and one chicken. The chicken and carnitas were good, but the al pastor was to die for. So juicy, fresh, and hearty, next time I will be getting three of those. The corn tortillas you could tell were also homemade and it was just a great meal. Both visits I got margaritas, which for me were very good and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend coming here for good food and drinks with your group. The service is great, the prices are good, and the experience is the best! read more

Mi Hacienda is hands down one of our favorite restaurants! We can't get enough of their chips and salsa--the salsa is fantastic, and we love the single-serve option. Over the course of many visits, we've tried around ten different menu items, and every single one has been amazing, but the fajita quesadilla is our absolute FAVORITE. The lunch deals are incredible; we fed four of us for just $32! We were so excited to dig in to our food today that we started eating before taking the picture lol. The service is consistently great--efficient and friendly. Plus, the water is always refreshing! The cozy environment, with both indoor and outdoor seating, is perfect, and the music is at just the right volume. If you're looking for delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere, Mi Hacienda is a must-visit! read more

It's definitely a busy restaurant. The staff was quick. The food and drinks were delicious. Just be ready for a little wait on busy nights.

Food was pretty good. Service was a little slow considering that they weren't very busy. Not bad, but there are better options in the area.

The food was good but the service was very subpar. I stopped in for lunch and I was there over an hour. There were plenty of staff present but most were standing around talking and laughing. read more

Food was excellent. Probably one of the best chimichangas I've had in a great while! Flavorful, beans were also on point. Great Service and cleanliness. We will be back next time we're in town. Food looked so good we started eating right away, forgot to get pics which is a rarity!! Eat here! read more

Service and quality of food has really gone down hill. Order a chile releno got I small piece of green bell pepper, they are made with poblano peppers. Can't even make a real traditional dish. We will not be going back there, even after the supposed manager told us that's how they make them. The rest of the food was fair, far from what we had the first time we went their, even the service was poor. read more

My wife and I we're enjoying our meal until the biggest roach I've ever seen wanted to enjoy our meal with us! Done with this place....

First time visiting while I was in town. The food was great but the service was awful. It didn't seem to be that busy because I kept seeing staff hang around the front chatting with each other. After placing my order, never saw my waiter again. I had to flag someone down just to get napkins and then later the check. This is the first time in life I didn't leave a tip but I honestly could not justify leaving a tip for the worse service I've ever experienced. I won't return. No water ever made it to our table. read more

Unfortunately, our former favorite Mexican restaurant has really gone downhill. Service has become nonexistent, and the food has become less than acceptable. We have given them multiple chances in the last 2 months and we won't be back. read more

It's basic Mexican food. The environment is average, BUT if you say "hey the drinks are weak" they will hook you up. Y'all owe me for that tip! read more

Server was owner. Served in less than 10 min. BEST WINGS IN TOWN. Twice the size of BWW and most other wing places. wings coating is like a Mexican tempura batter this is enough for two meals. Put those in an air fryer next day. And the FIESTA IN YOUR MOUTH HAPPENS ONE MORE TIME!!! read more

Worst service ever!!! Who put melted cheese on lettuce gross and then charged me for it. The checkout girl said it was my fault because I didn't like it. No frozen margarita on 2 for 1 night! The waiter was rushing us to order when we had an hour before the restaurant closed. The prices have increased and the service has decreased. Terrible would give a zero if I could. read more

This place is great defiantly one of the few Mexican restaurants I love ( coming from someone who doesn't like Mexican food ) service is fast not super expensive but still high quality great drink selection , and really nice staff, one complaint is that they don't have root beer but most places don't . Would rate 4.7 stars but 5 is close enough . read more

Mi Hacienda - Mexican Near Me - Columbus, Mississippi

We are from out of town but staying in Columbus. Our home town has many Mexican and Spanish restaurants. The staff were very friendly and fun. It was a busy night but we never felt ignored and the food was outstanding. We will definitely be going back before we leave. read more

We were looking forward to a fantastic meal but we're disappointed. I know a pickup order won't be steaming hot but this was very cold. The killer was the salt. We ordered #34 & #35 and the both were overwhelming too salty. We both gave this restaurant a 2 thumbs down. read more

One of the worst Mexican restaurants I have ever eaten. The food was cold and had no flavors. Ordered Poblano pepper, it had a slice of pepper with some kind of meat and cheese on it, more like Taco Bell meat. The enchiladas were so cold the cheese inside them wasn't melted. Salsa was tasteless. Drive to Starkville if you want Mexican read more

I normally eat the Nacho Supreme or Tacos, it's always been outstanding. Only reason I don't give them a 5 star review is the Salsa needs to be more chunky with more jalapeño peppers. I will definitely be back!!! read more

Food here is really good but the environment is not clean which is why I would never eat here again. I sent my drink back 3 times and each time there was a bug in it. Weve been here multiple times, and have never once had any issue. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and well kept, and the food is absolutely delicious. My husband loves the Mi hacienda trio, but I have a hard time picking favorites. I've tried multiple dishes over the past 2 years, and have yet to find something I didn't like. That's saying a lot, because I would definitely classify myself as a picky eater. read more

Take out order #196091445- Completely botched my take out order! First of all...my order said it would be ready at 6:15PM...had to wait 20 mins for my order. They rushed out and handed me the bags...Get home and find half of my order is missing. Ended up paying over $40 for 3 soft tacos, 4 hard shell tacos, and a cheese dip. What a waste of money...nothing came with my order that was supposed to...no sides, no sauce...bland.... Negative 5 Stars(-5) read more

Chips were stale, service awful. Understaffed . Then the food was served. Fajitas Nachos, you can't mess that up.right? Wrong!!! We couldn't eat them they tasted so bad. They didn't have cheese on them? They did take it off our bill which is why I gave it 1 star. As we were leaving the table next to us was complaining about their food. No I won't go back. read more

Slow service, small portions, overpriced. The plate only had a small serving of rice with pathetic sized chimichangas.

Good food! My drink was refilled and the server checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. Kind servers and enjoyable atmosphere. Sopapilla with ice cream is yummy! read more

The food is lackluster. The service is the worst. I tries it again tonight to see if things had improved. They have not.

I'm curious if there's a word for when four or five employees are standing around the host station while you're waiting for service, because that would save this review a lot of time. I've been to Mi Hacienda a few times now, both for dinner and lunch and I've been flat-out unimpressed each time I've gone. Particularly in the realm of customer service, but also by bland food and a generally stale atmosphere. Stranger still, by Columbus standards there's so much better. For a such a small town, there's like, three other places that all offer better Mexican within a few minutes. The best I can offer Mi Hacienda is that they're a scaling restaurant, in that you get the best service when they're most busy. People seem to love this is place though, as it really fills up on a Friday night. They offer a ton of seating, and generous margarita portions apparently put asses in the seats. I think this place has taken its place in the community for granted. read more

The water was the best part of my meal. The chips and salsa were decent at best. I got chicken, cheese and rice as my entree and was highly disappointed. The chicken tasted like soap and was just overall a bad mea read more

Order was incorrect and long wait time. Employee taking order could not understand my request. I do not plan Togo back.

Really just not good. I ordered the mi hacienda special and there was maybe 3 oz of beef in the dish. It was mostly a greasy mess with canned mushrooms, bell peppers, a tbsp of cheese sauce and 5-6 very tiny bits of beef. A far cry from the menu listed "marinated strips of beef..." description. Nothing about it was appetizing. Our meal was at our table less then 5 minutes after ordering. 2 stars because the salsa is yummy. read more
