The California burrito was amazing. Cheese dip was pretty good. The service was nice but took a little while. The restaurant is in the middle of construction so is a bit messy but the air was clean. Arthur (7 years old) read more

Credit where credit is due, I commend any establishment that can pivot gracefully when a very large party arrives unexpectedly. A communication error left the restaurant unprepared for the volume of guest that decended upon them all at once. With that in consideration, the staff was very accommodating, organized and efficient. Unfortunately the food was not as good. The chips and salsa taste fresh from the shelf. Open and serve. The rice was nearly flavorless and I suspect that the refried beans come in bags of powdered bean flakes. The ACP chicken had the over dried texture meat that's been precooked or held too long on the hot line. Even worse...the frozen food fish patties with barely dressed tri- colored bag slaw. Acceptable for a busy mom fish taco family dinner. But I expect so much more from every restaurant. The Chipotle Shrimp was the better of the entrees that I tried. The cream sauce was too thick, almost like a country gravy. However the shrimp were nicely cooked and the grilled onions were the best thing on the plate. Overall the experience was at best mediocre and at worst sad. read more

I'm going to start this review by saying this, the taco salad made my mother sick. Within minutes of eating she was getting sick. Also, the prices have increased tremendously. I get the prices of things are increasing but, a small side of sour cream should not cost a customer $3. I work for a food distribution company, so I am well aware of the cost restaurants are paying. But more to the point not only are prices increased but the quality and portion sizes are decreasing. I always order the same dish. Normally it is really good and plenty of chipotle sauce. This time they looked like they came from Taco Bell and barely any sauce. My husband ordered a pina colada and let's just say it was a premixed slushy and I would be surprised if there was alcohol in it at all, reminded me of a 711 slurpee. And the large margaritas have shrank. Don't your customers deserve better? read more

Shouldn't even put not even one star ,yesterday I was getting sat with my family and noticed when two employees were having some type of argument one of the guys was name calling a girl server and she seem like she was upset and defending herself and the boss no where to be found than I saw another guy / the guy server believe his name is Elias go up to her and say stuff to her when she didn't even speak or say anything to him at first just find it weird how the boss didn't come up till moments after just a mess. read more

I paid $4 two bags of extra chips and $10 for a largecheese dip and this is what I received and they didn't even give me the bag of chips that should come with the $10 cheese dip only the two I paid for which are filled half way. Ridiculous read more

Just an average Mexican restaurant. Been here a few times trying them out and trying to figure out their niche as most restaurants have one. Unfortunately, there's nothing that really sets them apart. The food is similar to a lot of other Mexican dishes. The salsa is nothing special, may even come from a jar. The service is mediocre as we have had to wait for refills or utensils more than once even when business is slow. The good thing here is that they haven't created a reason to be less than average. I will say that if you're just looking for Mexican without a wait then this is a good option except on Sundays after church. It seems to be pretty busy then. read more

This is our first time here. Great place and great food. We are here for a birthday party. We have a huge party and the staff here took great care of us. They had our orders out very quickly. I had my favorite dish chori proyo and it was great. And yes I know I misspelled that dish. I highly recommend this place in your in the Lexington area read more

Always a go to when in a pinch for dinner. Food tastes great and staff is helpful and diligent

The food is great. Always to much for us to eat all of it. The service has always been good. But there is a employee that is chewing gum and popping it no stop the whole time we have been here. It gets on my nerves and I'm not sure if it bothers anyone else but I don't see how it can't be getting on their nerves as well. read more

1000000% DO NOT RECOMMEND! This has got to be one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant. They messed up my families order, food was undercooked and I mean raw. One order came with hair! They were missing items we had to tell them again over and over what we had ordered and the food was bland and didn't even taste good. Do not waste your money. Family ended up with stomach issues from this place and I awoke in the middle of the night throwing it up. Save yourselves, DON'T DO IT!!! read more

First off we waited for 20 to 30 minutes before we could order I guess someone just forgot we were sitting there waiting by the tv corner table. One of the food we orders was Chicken Fajitas All of it's Vegetables and chicken Where burnt to a crisp. I had to pay for something I didn't eat at all. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! This has to be the worst experience in my entire life. Thankfully there's more restaurants besides this place. No Thanks. read more

We have been going here for years. We have always been treated well. There have never been any issues with our orders. Food is consistently good. A lot of the same people work here that have been there for years. Great to walk in and see familiar faces. Much better than the other local Mexican restaurants in my opinion. read more

Great! Fresh ingredients and plenty of flavor. Love the red sauce. I'll be back. I haven't eaten inside yet. Susan

On our way up 85 and found this on Yelp. Sure glad we stopped in for lunch! The parking lot was packed (always a good sign), but this is a big place so we were seated right away. Very clean and tastefully decorated (unlike some of those over the top tacky Mexican joints). Fast and very friendly service. Let me say something about the fast part - you've probably been in those Mexican restaurants that get the food out to you 2 minutes after you order. You just know your meal has been pre-made and sitting under a heat lamp somewhere...and it tastes like it. Not here though! We waited about 10 minutes for our entrees (while enjoying the complimentary chips and salsa and some yummy cheese dip that we ordered) and they came out fresh tasting, so obviously made to order. Nice! Hubby had the fried chimichangas. They were crispy with excellent flavor. My #1 combo (beef taco and 2 cheese enchiladas with a side of rice) was terrific as well. Hubby and I differed a bit on the rice. He loved it, while I thought it lacked a little flavor. It was obviously fresh though - not crunchy like it had been sitting around. I also ordered the guacamole salad (I like the lettuce & tomatoes on my enchilada), and the guac was fantastic, fresh flavors, it wasn't mushy like it came out of a jar like you find in most Mexican places. My only complaint - there wasn't enough of it! The kid had a cheeseburger and fries, so we won't even go there, but he loved it and cleaned his plate. All in all it was a really good lunch and well worth the short hop off the highway. We especially appreciated the fried tortilla chips with the cinnamon sugar, whipped cream and strawberry sauce that came complimentary at the end of our meal. I had been thinking or ordering sopapillas, but was too full. These fit the bill nicely! All that food and we got out of there for $28. Awesome! read more

The chips and salsa are amazing. I was very impressed by the rest of the food I got the nachos and tacos and my wife got the quesadilla. The tacos where very authentic and tasty. I would definitely go back. read more

Yeah it's not that great. My chips were not edible, and looked around and found that no one else was eating the chips. They were overcooked, tasted like grease also I had some really old chips. It was so bad They we're soooo stale to the point I may have gotten sick from them. Food was good not great, not worth coming back. Sorry I really wanted to like it. The other places are a much better option. read more

This is the best authentic Mexican-style food in all of Lexington and the surrounding towns. The food and adult beverage prices are more than competitive to other nearby restaurants. The management is attentive, responsive and respectful. The wait staff is professional, polite, friendly and hard working. The kitchen staff serve up delicious meals in a timely manner. If you have not tried this place you are missing out. read more

We went here once before COVID, once just after they'd reopened, and again just over a week ago. The last time was actually better than the first, food-wise and service-wise. They are seating customers very far apart, and everyone is wearing masks. Each person gets their own salsa, but the chips are shared by the table. Our entrees were fresh and fast. The margarita wasn't the strongest, but for $2.50, I guess I can't complain! read more

The food here was good, I liked the salsa a lot. Prices were decent as well. Service was a little spotty. Basically just anther generic Mexican place serving decent American versions of Mexican food. read more

The review that said this is the best Mexican food in NC lied. And lied hard. I travel for a living and have also lived in Mexico for 2 years, this is not authentic Mexican food and I struggle to say it was even Texmex. I got a smother burrito. Tortilla wasn't even wrapped around the filling it was just placed on top with the corners tucked into the beans. I will say the queso chorizo was decent and service was friendly. Food didn't taste bad just is a far stretch from "the best in NC". Go in with realistic expectations knowing it's a subpar but cheap restaurant and you won't be disappointed. read more

definition of mediocre. The chicken litterally had NO seasoning. Its like they just boiled it. We had to order extra shots of tequila for our margs because it tasted like mix only. This place is no where near 4.5 stars. read more

We were headed home one day from a day of shopping and were in the mood for some mexican food and looked up what was close by and decided on Mi Casa. So glad we did. Excellent food!! We have been here 4 times in a week and a half. We even went this week for our anniversary. Everything and I mean everything we have gotten has always been absolutely delicious!! The salsa is great as is the guacamole and the Mi Casa dip too. The food always came out fast. The only issue we had was there was a wait if you order any alcohol, but we will definitely be back!! read more

First time. From the previous reviews I decided to go with a margarita but I was very disappointed. The margarita was not drinkable, no one in my party wanted it either. I ordered the street tacos and they were ok. Nothing special. My mom ordered the chimichangas and she was content. Chips and salsa were good with refills. Staff was nice and very responsive. I personally will not be back. read more

If you want terrible service, explosive diarrhea, and bland food. This is the place for you. Took 20 minutes to bring us our drinks. Took 50 minutes to bring us our food. Took another 20 minutes just to bring us boxes to take this shit home (which we regretted since the food was not decent at all), and yes. I did time it because it was ridiculous from the start. I did see a cute waitress. That's the only thing decent about this place and why it has a 1 star and not a 0. read more
