I had been lead to believe I would be signing them by tax day. I picked up my paperwork they had and took it to someone who had them done in 2 weeks. I know for a fact that as of today 06/27/2024, they still have paperwork to prepare that won't be looked at for a couple more weeks. Sad. Honesty is the best policy. I'd give them NO STARS.

I take full blame for submitting my tax paperwork later than usual, which required an extension to be filed in mid-April. Fine, this is not the issue. June 28, I had not received any update about my tax preparation. I called their office and was horrified to hear the line was no longer in service (disconnected). Had they gone out of business? Where was my paperwork? Now, what do I do? I was verbally informed of the extension. However, I had no proof. Taking my time off work, I was forced to go to their office (and hope someone was there!) to request my paperwork and wait while they tried to locate it. I had to return the next day because they refused to provide a copy of the filed extension that my new preparer required. While I did not pay them to file the extension, I found this action to be extremely petty and further proof of poor customer service. I had reached out to a staff member via Facebook Messenger about the phone being disconnected, and they informed me that the phones would be down a couple more weeks. No one at ATSI contacted me by email or by phone with an update. When I mentioned in the office the reason for showing up and requesting my paperwork to take elsewhere, I was informed, "They won't use their personal cell phones." Folks, in 2024, there are NUMEROUS options to contact loyal and concerned customers! (EDIT: former loyal customers). Clearly, ATSI does not want or need my business. Disappointed is not a fair description of my feelings.

Nothing has changed since last year. I still work 2 jobs and have 2 W2 forms. There is nothing complicated about my taxes to justify charging $322!!
