Nelson was quick to respond and communicate. He had a vision for what my yard could be after... I hadn't even thought that far ahead, I just wanted the bushes gone! His removal price was very reasonable and then after I stewed on it for a few hours I realized we did need something to replace them. Once again communication and response was great. We agreed on a design (I wanted very low maintenance) and we're done within a 2 week period, from consultation to end product. I highly recommend Green Yard service!

I reached out to a few companies for quotes, and they stood out right away with very competitive pricing and quick responses. They were able to give me a quote based on photos, which made the process super easy. Scheduling was smooth, and I really appreciated their communication. They called the day of with an update and sent a text when they were on the way. Paco and his team got straight to work. Everyone clearly knew their role, and they worked quickly and efficiently without cutting corners. The before and after difference is unreal--our yard went from completely overgrown to clean and refreshed. It honestly looks brand new. We're so happy with the results and will definitely be reaching out again for future landscaping projects. Highly recommend!

Paco is not the ideal small business owner I'd recommend to anyone…read more I contacted him to replace my irrigation valve on Saturday 07/04/26, while the initial conversation was cordial, the end result wasn't (07/06/26). We set a date (07/06/26) for the replacement and what I thought was a fair negotiated price ($250), it really ended not being a fair price at all. Paco initially wanted $280, I negotiated with him to $250. Even at $250 he was higher than all others by $50-$100 more. I asked him if I could use my credit card, he said yes but there would be 4% surcharge. I didn't agree with that, so I asked if he could wave that, he reluctantly agreed. So, date and price was set. Come Monday 07/06/26, he claims his credit card service isn't working, so I agreed to a Zelle payment. Our appointment was for Monday (07/06/26 at 11:30; not only did his credit card service not work according to him, but he continued to change his arrival time. He texted me he was running behind on 07/06/26 and now would arrive no later than 12:30. By this time I'm seeing many red flags. I called him @ 11:46 on 07/06/26 to verify with him that he would arrive no later than 12:30 and was still intact. While confirming his 12:30 time, now he tells me 1 O'clock and blames me for his late arrival because I called to verify the time. During our conversation on the phone he kept interrupting me, talking over me, telling me I was upset that I couldn't use my credit card (furthest from the truth), and that I set the price for the job and so forth. I told him, I no longer needed his services, he was rude and not accommodating or respectful of my time and needs. Who wants to invite someone to their home after a terrible text and phone conversation, NO THANK YOU! To say the least, he wasn't given the job. Be careful who you hire people.

Had to keep asking them to not walk on the freshly painted concrete and to go through the garage. The previous owner would have not known since this is underground and it's over 50 year old house. We wouldn't have known either since we just purchased it a month ago. This is why we hired professional landscaping help.

That's when we found Sergio, and we're so glad we did! Since taking over our landscaping, Sergio has been reliable, professional, and great about communicating. After dealing with a landscaper who stopped showing up and stopped communicating, having someone dependable who does what he says he'll do has made such a difference. We're very happy to have found Sergio and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable landscaper!

I had also met with another landscaper who simply told me to go to the rock yard and find a match myself. They never made any effort to help find something comparable. JRs, on the other hand, took the time to find a solution and made the entire process so easy. They were professional from start to finish. The rock was delivered the evening before so the crew could get started first thing in the morning. I received text notifications throughout the process regarding the appointment, delivery, and start of the work, which kept me informed every step of the way. The crew worked incredibly hard, followed all of my instructions, and took great care to clean up when they were finished. They even hosed off the road and the rock after it was installed. The price was very reasonable and worth every penny. I couldn't be happier with the results or the service I received. I would absolutely recommend JRs to anyone looking for quality landscaping work, and I would definitely use them again!

I requested for tree trimming services, weed pulling, blowing and haul away for the branches cut. I…read morewas happy with the weed pulling and blowing, but tree trimming is not this guy, Rafa's forte. He trimmed one side of my tree and left the other side (the front of the tree that everyone can see) full and overgrown just on the one side. When he was done with the trim, the tree looked like it got struck by lightning. It was terrible! His excuse for not finishing was that he didn't have the right equipment and that he had another job to go to. Ok. I accepted the excuse of not having the proper equipment as they seemed nice and spent a good amount of time on our initial project.m; but the reason of having to go to another job is unacceptable. That is not our problem. If you're going to be paid for a job, you should finish it. I paid Rafa and even gave him and his sidekick a tip with the promise of him returning to finish the tree trimming. Boy! Do I regret it! Rafa was supposed to come back 2 months later to finish what he didn't finish (as agreed) and to do the regular maintenance, which isn't much as we live in the desert after all (weed pulling and blowing and occasional tree trimming when necessary). Well, he didn't show up so we contacted him and he said that he was busy so he couldn't come out (as if that is our problem). Anyhow, he said he would show a week or so later but didn't show again. We had to contact him again and then he goes to say that he would stop by yesterday (Monday). We texted him to confirm that he was going to come by but he decided he would change it to the next day. I understand that we all have lives but if you make a commitment with a customer, you have to stick with it and not cancel as many times as Rafa did. He finally showed today and just trimmed one tree but was still not enough as he agreed to do what we asked during his initial visit, which is to trim the trees down short. His sidekick blew the area of debris and loaded a few branches on to the trailer. Rafa decides to then start cleaning up and put away his tools. Mind you, we were watching them work and noticed that Rafa's work ethics need a bit of a fine tuning. We texted him to show us what he cut but decided that he would just speed off (no exaggeration either) as I was coming out to talk to him. I specifically texted him and let him know that he didn't finish the job and that I would like to talk to him to let him know what needed to have done but he wasn't having it and just left. Can you believe that he had had the nerve to ask for more money and tell us that the tree grew too much (bc he had us wait almost 3 months for maintenance when it was agreed to at 2 months) for him to waste his time on since he had other customers? I couldn't believe our ears. We couldn't just let it go and was hoping to get him to come back to finish the job. We tried calling and texting but no response. I think that our customer to gardener relationship will probably be over. If you want your gardening/landscaping completed, you might want to hire another company. I will not EVER recommend this guy, Rafa, to anyone.

I did my usual project to get mutliple quotes. Only (2) companies I was seriously considering. Will definitely use them again in the future. Thank you!!!

When it was windy, the branches would hit the roof and create a horrible noise. A couple of landscapers had left their cards on our door, so I initially called one of them. At that point, my husband Tom submitted a quote request on Yelp, and Mizrain was one of the first to respond. He was also the most prompt and thorough when answering our questions. Mizrain provided a very competitive quote and was able to come out the same day to trim our tree. He arrived on time, immediately greeted me with a handshake, and provided his business card before getting right to work. He and his team took their time while working very efficiently. They were extremely careful to ensure that no branches fell on or damaged the house and frequently stepped back to assess the tree as a whole to make sure it looked balanced after trimming. I am extremely impressed with Mizrain and his team's work. They went above and beyond to make the tree look great and full while still removing a significant amount of overgrowth. I was initially worried it would look bare or dead, but it looks amazing. They also thoroughly cleaned the entire area, removing not only large branches but also small twigs. They even blew away dust and picked up trash that had blown into our front yard, which was greatly appreciated and not expected. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and I would absolutely work with Mizrain again in the future. I would highly recommend him to friends and family.
