In August 2023 I ordered and bought a BRAND NEW mobile home, from MidCountry Homes . It was…read moredelivered to my space in November of 2023. My cat and I moved in November 22 2024 with a bed, a lawn chair and a litter box. On November 22nd I was moved into a filthy home. I had to clean up construction dirt, dust, bits of dry wall, nails and screws. (This was problematic because of my cat.) The linoleum was like ice. My cat and I kept falling constantly; she slid so hard we ended up at the vet with an injured hip. I had bruised knees and elbows, my toes kept sliding into the cupboards, the refrigerator, the walls. I was black and blue. I had never, ever experienced flooring like this in my life. Yes, I had asked for linoleum; I did not expect floors so slippery that even shoes aren't safe to walk in. When I move in, I was unable to use the kitchen cupboards, because they had not drilled out the holes for the shelves; no shelf in any cupboard could hold a cereal box, a bottle of ketchup, mayonnaise, much less my drinking glasses. The first year was chaotic, trying to make this much house work, so I lived with EVERYTHING from the kitchen, stacked in boxes, along the cupboards, on the floor. The stainless steel kitchen sink began to rust almost immediately. I was living with nearly 90 % of my things in, boxes because of the closets, one was literally useless (it now is used as an attic with all my Christmas things stacked in there. I could not simply "move in". There were too many problems I had never had before. In December of 2024 I called #MidCountry for help with the kitchen, because I had tried to resolve it myself and the walls of the cabinets were so thin that with almost no pressure at all, I drilled right through; obviously I couldn't drill out the holes. They agreed to fix that, the door of one of the bottom cabinets, that would not close at all, and replace the rusted sink, but I was told the new one would also rust. Someone came and drilled out the holes in the kitchen. He also gave me a new sink, which began to rust by February. Shelves finally in the kitchen, but the cabinets are so shallow they will not hold my Tupperware. In all, the kitchen cupboards are not a cheap and too shallow . Fast forward to this September 2025 when the toilet in the 2nd bathroom had begin to crack, starting from the bolt outward. Like a windshield, the cracks keep spreading. I go in once a month to run all the water to keep the plumbing moving. That is it. But the toilet is cracking. I called MidCountry a few times, left messages, no one called back. Today I reached someone and she said, likely they would NOT help because the house is 2 years old! They warranty for only 1 year. The house IS two years old! The decorative moulding at the top of the cupboards is coming off. The door that was fixed is already crooked again, which means the entire cabinetry is not plumb. I have been tolerating that, because I have still been struggling with no utility closet, and cupboards that are not deep enough. My dinner plates JUST fit! This toilet, however is serious. I can't leave the water off with winter coming and I can't wait until the cracks reach the seal. MidCountry saying to me 'not our problem', not standing behind their product, is very disconcerting. If they are building poor quality products, then they are charging far too much for them. I have no choice at this point but to go but a toilet and higher a plumber. So here I am in a house that I paid good money for, that is not good quality. My picture frames, hung with picture hooks, with two nails, designed for 75 pound art, are coming off the walls. I moved from a mobile home with dry wall; Iused these same type and brand hooks, and never had anything fall, even with earthquakes. Here, in this home, I have had 3 pieces come down and last week my German CooCoo clock came down, shattering into pieces. The nails, put in at an angle, simply came out of the wall. I guess along with low quality cupboards and low quality stainless steal sinks (that sounds like an oxy-moron) there are different qualities of drywall. My Mobile home in California had none of these problems. I will be calling a plumber tomorrow, and arranging to but a new toilet and paying the dump fee for the 2 year old one. Honestly, this long list of things that make comfort in this house an absolute challenge, would have gone unmentioned, if today they had said "yes we stand by our work; we will fix your toilet". The toilet is one problem too many! If anyone were ever to ask me if this is a good company to build your home, I would say: keep shopping, it simply isn't worth it. It truly isn't!

OUTSTANDING !! The team from Eagle did a terrific job laying approx 6,000 square feet of asphalt…read moredrive, parking pad and walkways. The team carefully graded the entire project to ensure proper drainage, cleaned and tamped the edges tight. end result exceeded our expectations. Jim did a great job answering all our questions, and explaining each step of the prep and completion process. Absolutely recommend Jim and his team at Eagle!!!! K & L

We called April 11 - they responded and showed up same day with estimate. Work started couple days…read morelater (April 19) then rains came in. Work finally got done (after many phone calls and messages) on May 14. We were told to let it cure for 24-48 hrs before driving on. There were a few questions we had and asked Jim to stop over. Jim has yet (July 29) stopped over to find out my questions, He has not responded to MANY Phone Messages, Facebook Messages or voicemails. I had received ocassional responses to messages with excuses of being busy, but we will be working in Marshfield - I will stop over. Two weeks later he wasnt feeling well and would get back to me. After a couple more weeks (June 24), I messaged him again and he finally got back to me saying he was on his way home from Florida and would get back to me when he returned. Have sent several messages since the 24th with NO RESPONSE via phone and Facebook. I am sure I am now being GHOSTED!! He still has no idea on concerns or questions we have, but when you dont respond with a phone call, how would he know. We are about 4 miles from his business and were asking for 1/2 hr of his time. NOW I get NO RESPONSES and all calls go to voicemail with NO CALL BACK - Not very good customer service after the job is done, so I'm not sure how good that 1 year guarantee is going to be either. As soon as you pay him and you have a few questions and ask him to stop over, he automaticly thinks there is a problem and doesnt want to deal with you.
