For the many buses that stop there you can also connect to the buses that do take you over to the beach area and to Sea World .

From the introduction of the trolley that the city of San Diego has welcomed and the many people that do take the trolley that the many riders that take the trolley are those that travel from the International Border and those that are going to UTC. The new introduction of a transport line can be considered as the welcoming of a new family member to the city of San Diego and the many areas of the North County. When you take a look at the many times that the North County had traffic it was the many areas of La Jolla and the surrounding areas of the Clairmont and the many connecting counties. The Balboa Ave trolley center has been the best and yes with the opening of the trolley there has been newer routes and the closeness to the beach and the express to the downtown area of La Jolla takes you right to the heart. One note that if you take a look at some of the busses that have been equipped with public Wi-Fi giving a better ride to the many that may have laptops and smart phones to use the internet. Balboa Ave Trolley has been the site of the Trolley transit hiring and recruitment fair and the Introduction of the electric buses which will be starting soon and many of them have already been in service. The location across the street which takes you up to the bus stop that takes you to other locations. If you see at many other trolley locations, you will be seeing more buses which will be starting and the many areas you will be able to get to from other trolley stations and transit centers. As a Yelp Elite reviewer, the many new trolley stations that I have been to and had the chance to get the feel of the many stations and many of the stations have so much to offer. There are those locations that have their own coffee places and there are those with A Marts which are the smaller convenience grab and go .

The Santa Fe Depot serves Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner service, the MTS Trolley, and regional Coaster…read moretrains. This review is of the station facility and not any of the rail services. The Santa Fe Depot was built by the bygone railroad of that name. I'm old enough to remember the advertising slogan "Ship and travel Santa Fe--all the way!" This is one of relatively few major railway stations that have both been preserved largely in their original form, and continue to serve rail passengers. It is a beautiful Mission-style building from the early 20th Century, and will give you a feel for what rail travel was like in its heyday. Gorgeous tile work and some nice landscaping make this a great place to wait for a train. (Search "Santa Fe Depot (San Diego)" on Wikipedia for more on its history and architecture.) For Amtrak passengers, this is a staffed station with ticketing and checked baggage services. Amtrak staff are courteous and helpful. The waiting room is large and has plenty of old-style bench seating. There is a designated waiting area for seniors and people with disabilities needing assistance in boarding. There are restrooms, but Amtrak often has difficulty in keeping unhoused people from making a mess or using the facilities for things other than immediate relief. So at times, not everyone will find them comfortable to use. In addition to the Trolley, the Santa Fe Depot is also served by several MTS bus lines. There is a paid parking lot run by a third-party provider. No free parking nearby. There is a small kiosk--the Silver Streak Cafe--selling food and drink. See my separate review.

My only gripe is that I wish I would have known about it earlier, lol. The app was easy to use and book a ride. When I first loaded it up, I thought it wasn't working, but it was just that the ride window had not started yet (it starts taking rides at 7am, and I was looking at 6:50a). I was able to book a ride immediately and it gave me a waiting time of about 3 minutes. The wait time was not entirely accurate, as it ended up being closer to 10 minutes. But, once I was picked up, it was smooth sailing. I even had my luggage with me, and while it was tricky, I was able to fit it all in the vehicle. Driver was super friendly, too. Because this is totally free, and worked for my needs, I'm giving it five stars. But this is not a good service if you are in a hurry or are particular about how you want to travel. It was an open-air vehicle, which meant no windows and no A/C. We also stopped to pick someone else up so you won't necessarily get a direct ride. If that's important to you, you should get an Uber or Lyft instead. It also does NOT go to the airport, so you will need a rideshare for that. Also, I used this service in the early morning. I can't speak for during peak times. But for back and forth from the convention center in the early morning, it was perfect. And since everything else in SD is so expensive, I'll take whatever savings I can get.

Then jumped to 5 minutes away. Nope. F*ck it. This time I canceled. We walked and arrived in less time than we waited for Circuit to never show up. They canceled on us twice, then the third driver kept getting further away. Ridiculous. I left a comment on the app voicing my displeasure. As expected, I did not receive a response.
