Interrupted me several times, seemed to receive basic clarificatory questions about risks associated with procedures as personal attacks rather than reasonable requests for information, and got increasingly defensive. Seemed insecure and nervous throughout the entire meeting, couldn't finish several of his own sentences, dodged multiple questions, etc. That kind of behavior doesn't exactly inspire confidence in his abilities! To make matters even worse, Koschel seems intensely focused on making money, and not at all focused on patient preferences/wellbeing. I came in to request information about microneedling. So far, so simple. He instead wanted to convince me to get botox AND filler AND polynucleotides AND a range of other treatments. No other doctor that I have consulted (3 in total so far--I was comparing providers in Berlin, and have luckily found a much better doc at this point) has been so aggressive in trying to sell me all sorts of different procedures as an early 30s patient. Didn't end up receiving much information about the one service I was interested in. Red flags all around. When I expressed skepticism about the many treatments he felt I "needed", he made a desperate last attempt to convince me by listing "things he notices about my face...not as a doctor, but as a MAN". Unprofessional and creepily chauvinistic--this poor man seems to be mentally stuck in the 1950s, and desperate to make a sale no matter how disrespectful he has to be. Needless to say, his strategy wasn't successful...It was painful to watch, and I almost felt bad for him. I had to stop myself from laughing in his face! I would give zero stars for the deeply condescending and unprofessional treatment, but I'll give one star because I did get some important insights from this doctor: the insight that I would never let this guy touch my face, even if he paid me! He seems like a deeply unhappy person. Glad to now have found another doctor who seems much more qualified. I just feel bad for the nice receptionist there who has to work with such a fragile and narcissistic boss. Must be hard.

One of my concerns was to even out my eyebrows as the right one was slightly lower than the left. The doctor who injected me was very unfriendly and clearly annoyed at me or something else. It made me feel uncomfortable during the treatment. 5 days after the treatment my right eyebrow was even lower, with my lid drooping slightly. The hight difference between the eyebrows was now much worse. I contacted them to ask them if this could be fixed, and requested to see a different doctor as I did not have faith in the injector's technique, nor did I find her friendly. I waited a week for an answer, than contacted them again. I was told to call customer care as they said they can't place me with a different doctor as a free follow up consultation. It took a lot of back and forth for customer service to finally book me with another doctor to have a look at it. The new doctor confirmed that there was too much botox injected and in the wrong area. He recommended I rather wait it out as lowering the other eyebrow might feel and look strange. I am very unhappy that you can spend 200 EUR. here and walk out looking worse, not due to side effects of botox (which we know is possible), but because of a bad injector. M1 offered me 10% off my next treatment. I think I will pass and go somewhere where there is professional treatment and better customer service. In my 3 years of getting botox, I have never experienced such bad treatment.

Auf der rechten…read moreSeite gab es keine Komplikationen, jedoch auf der linken, sodass Dr. Brink 5 Minuten mit der einen und ca. 25 Minuten mit der anderen Seite beschäftigt war. Er musste sogar in den Kieferknochen bohren. Ich hatte darauf hin 2 Wochen lang schreckliche Schmerzen auf die ich keineswegs vorbereitet war (mich über die Möglichkeit derartiger Schmerzen in Kenntnis zu setzen wäre wohl angebracht gewesen). Ich konnte kaum das Haus verlassen, geschweige denn arbeiten gehen. Letzte Woche Montag ging ich dann zum Fäden ziehen, das war der erste Tag an dem ich überhaupt das Haus verlassen konnte und ich berichtete Dr. Brink von den Schmerzen. Er meinte, das seien die Heilungsschmerzen und ich solle einfach weiter Schmerztabletten nehmen. Vor lauter Schwäche vergaß ich nach einem Attest für die 2. Woche zu fragen. Am Donnerstag fiel es mir ein und ich schrieb ihm eine E-Mail mit der Bitte, dass er mir eins ausstellt. Darauf antwortete die Praxis nicht. Am Freitag rief ich dann an (einmal weil ich wieder so starke Schmerzen hatte und wegen dem Attest). Die Sprechstundenhilfe sagte mir ich solle in der darauffolgenden Woche Montag zur Untersuchung kommen, was ich heute auch tat. Dr. Brink untersuchte mich und stellte fest, dass alle Wunden äußerlich gut verheilt waren. Auf meinen Einwand, dass ich immernoch fürchterliche Schmerzen habe schüttelte er nur ungläubig den Kopf und sagte, dass dies nicht sein könne. Er nahm mich also kein bisschen ernst. Das Attest bekam ich auch nicht ausgeschrieben, zum Glück ist mein Hausarzt so ein freundlicher Mensch, dass er, nachdem er die Geschichte hörte, für ein Attest sorgte (was er egtl nicht darf). Alles in allem habe ich mich dort überhaupt nicht gut beraten und aufgehoben gefühlt, im Gegenteil. Ich werde meinen Kiefer nochmal in einer anderen Praxis auf eventuelle Fehler Dr. Brinks untersuchen lassen.

I came in for an initial consultation regarding a non-hormonal contraceptive method, the copper IUD. My first impression of the doctor was not good, as he dismissed my current menstrual method (the menstrual cup) with no rational argument. In his words "I don't even know why women do this". When asked about the method of action as well as its attributed potential risks, the doctor did not offer any satisfying explanation, and instead told me I would be getting a brochure on the way out. Quickly he examined me and prescribed some drugs. The consultation ended abruptly and I left with a packet of "information brochures" but no real informed opinions about this contraceptive method. Once home I researched the potential risks associated with this procedure and based on what I could gather, was in shock that none of this information had been communicated to me during the 'informative consultation'. This was definitely not the place for me. I called throughout the week to cancel my appointment and never got anyone on the other line. I had to email them twice to obtain a cancellation confirmation. They did not reach out to ask why the sudden change of choice and instead it felt like I was bothering them to try and cancel this appointment. Disappointing service from 'experts'. Poor communication. 1h30 in the waiting room. I will not be back and will certainly not recommend them.
