This place gets sooooo cramped at rush hour. Pro tip: stay away from the bus here if you can at all avoid it at rush hour. We're talking wall to wall, face to face with total strangers. Not enough room to reach the bars to keep you from falling into the person next to you.
These buses run really frequently, like every minute or so during rush hour, but they're still absolutely crammed with people!
The best thing about this bus stop is getting out of there.
Once you get out, you are greeted with a bunch of street meat food stalls, a few psychic booths, and plenty of places selling fidget spinners. It's less than a block's walk to the Metro station here, Metro Hidalgo.
If you can Uber it or take a cab, do that instead... Stay away at rush hour if you can avoid it at all.
The fare is taken from a RFID implanted chip on a thick bus card that you have to purchase separately from the subway fares. The card costs less than a dollar, and each ride is only a dime or so. But please, spring for that extra few pesos on the ride. I wish I had. read more
