***DON'T CANCEL YOUR APPT, NO RESCHEDULING OFFERED*** Father…read more& Son family owned tinting services. They serviced my mom back in 2023 and tinted her mini cooper. They did a really good job, the tint has held up with no peeling! Pricing was very reasonable! I took two stars off due to their poor communication and refusal to service my vehicle. I had initially scheduled an appointment with them to service my own car around the end of 2023. I had some scheduling conflicts and had to cancel my appointment. I tried to follow up with them to reschedule via text, I got no response. Fast forward to June of this year, I called their listed phone number a few times and got no answer. I finally got a response from them when I reached out via email. The owner stated that they would not service me due to my prior cancellation, which I was very disappointed to hear. It was almost like they were intentionally not answering my calls, and when I asked if the owner could please reconsider I was yet again ignored! A direct answer or formal disclaimer would have been much appreciated during the time of my initial cancelled appointment so I wouldn't have wasted my time! I was pretty surprised they refused to service to me, as I believed I gave enough notice ahead of time and wanted to reschedule my initial appointment. S*** happens! Sometimes people have to cancel appointments and reschedule. I feel like they didn't communicate any disclaimer/warning about cancellations whatsoever. I hope going forward they alert clients about this policy as it was extremely unprofessional. Or maybe ask for a percentage of the fee as an initial deposit to hold your appointment date? I would have gladly paid it! I'm definitely frustrated with the situation but I'm taking my business elsewhere to a more direct, and professional servicer.

I get the to get the tint fixed and the witch behind the counter doesn't agree to past conversations with her coworker about the free tint fix/replacement, and the guy who said he'd do it for free was there and and didn't say anything to the witch about past conversation or agreements. I suggest finding business else where, because they obviously don't care about returning customers and don't care enough to be anywhere good at record keeping.

I like that the tint options are on the door so you can see what they look like and if you can see through them. Whenever I get a new to me vehicle, tint is a top priority for me. Ken's work is the best quality you are going to see for tint! Do know going in that Cool Shades does not offer 5% on the front windows due to current state regulation with that being illegal. I paid $625 for ceramic tint on my brand-new Ford Explorer. The first time I went to pick it up,…read morethere was a hair (or something similar) stuck in the driver's side tint. The lady took it back to be redone, but when I got the car home, I noticed problems on multiple windows. Update 2 - I went back for a second redo, this time on the front driver/passenger windows, rear trunk glass, and rear quarter windows. When I picked it up, I saw that the defrost lines on my rear glass had been scraped off. I was told it was "just bubbles" and they would go away, but if you search "broken defrost lines from window tint," you'll see exactly what mine looked like. I pointed this out immediately, but the staff brushed it off and told me to call them in a week if it was still an issue. It was very obvious, and I asked them to take pictures, but the lady didn't seem to care. They told me they had "gone over it thoroughly" this time, but clearly not thoroughly enough if no one noticed the missing defrost lines. After going back and forth, I ended up scheduling a replacement rear glass and re-tint. Update 3 - On my third visit, they replaced the trunk glass. I brought it home, only to find the trim on my right rear door was now cut up. Completely unacceptable, especially on a brand-new vehicle. At this point, after three visits and being told that multiple people including the managers "went over it with a fine-tooth comb," the workmanship is still sloppy. This is not the quality of work you'd expect for $625. If you're reading this, save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else for tinting. There's no excuse for this kind of job on a new car.
