I like how I can take the subway from Downtown area directly to the Airport from Zone A-D. Fast and convenient. The Zone system works well as you really paid for how far you travelling compare to one fare for all. Next time when I visit Valencia again, hopefully I can spend more time exploring the City and I definitely will be using the subway more! PS. The staff at the Colon Station was really nice, even shown me how to pass back to use our ticket.. with a smile on his face!

The metro in Valencia is the worst. I am a student at the university and I have to leave an hour…read morebefore class starts because it is impossible to time it right. If google says the tram is coming in 4 minutes I can guarantee it will not be there for about 20 minutes. They need to upgrade the public transport here or add more lines because it is ridiculous how inefficient it is.

Much smaller when compared to Estacion Nord. Six Platforms with a couple of Cafes and a McDonalds. Bring some change for the Restroom-1 Euro. They do have a security check before boarding so plan for that. Moved quickly for us around 1:30 in the afternoon. Taxis are lined up and available. Overall, ok for a smaller Stacion.

Due to our limited Espanol and "spontaneous" planning, we decided to purchase or tickets the day before our trip. It looks like we didn't need to, as the ticketing office has 3 people manning the busy area . The station is outdated but they do have your basic cafes and a McDonald's to suit your grab and go needs. Toilettes are right by the exit. Make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early since they do an X Ray screening of your bags/luggages. We took the "Alvia" high speed train and the trip was only 2 hours! Beats going to the airport and flying anytime ;)

Very nice train station in Valencia. The station isn't very big so it's easy to navigate. Covid…read moreprecautions in effect. Signage is excellent. There are also plenty of personnel to assist customers. A large sign is suspended in the middle of the station to allow everyone to locate the correct line. There is ample seating for everyone. It was fairly hot today, and the temperature was quite comfortable inside. Armed police visible, adding to everyone's safety.

All new high speed trains arrive…read moreand depart out of the newer station, Estación Valencia Joaquín Sorolla, but that station is nowhere as impressive. Nord is still the main train station and if you have time to walk around it, I suggest it. The front facade of the station is beautiful and you can see history and culture through the ceramics and mosaics throughout. The station is small and easy to navigate. If you needed to get to the newer station, they have shuttles that take you (only ten mins away). Other: it is also almost right in the center of the city and is near Plaza de Toros. There is also tourist infomarion across the street.
