Misleading Free Trial and Poor Customer Service…read more I signed up for home Wi-Fi with a promise of a 2-week free trial, during which I could return the equipment if I wasn't satisfied. I received the equipment on May 9 and returned it on May 19 because the service was unstable and didn't meet my needs. When I returned the equipment, I was told I needed to call customer service. I asked for help making the call because my English is very poor, but the staff refused to assist me. They didn't explain that returning the equipment didn't automatically cancel my service. Without the equipment, of course, I couldn't use the internet. I tried calling them for three days, but kept reaching an answering machine. I returned to the office to find out how to reach customer service. Another staff member finally explained the specific numbers to dial after the automated message to speak to a representative. I was only able to disconnect the service on May 23. I was originally told I had a 2-week free trial, but when speaking on the phone, I was informed it was only 15 days. I returned the equipment within 10 days, well within the free trial period, but I'm still being charged $58. No one will explain why I'm being charged or what the fee is for, especially since I no longer had the equipment. I'm truly lost and would like a clear response to this issue. This experience has been very frustrating and misleading.
