No Frills has always been a pack your own groceries store so not sure why this person was surprised. The parking lot goes all the way over to he other side street. Cobourg has A&P and Metro nuf said. This store is a good No Frills location, it is clean and the staff are friendly. Always lots of product and good quality. I shop here on a regular basis because of this.

I walk into this store (very dirty, sometimes clean, but no mostly dirty in at least the winter I tell you!) and I hunt for this monkey jungle fruit. I locate it, and people are starting to pay attention, I AM ONE of them! And now I am paying attention to the bananas in front of me, looking to buy! Guess what? No peels! Love these guys.

A few weeks ago, I was in Whitby and needed to find a grocery store. I did a quick search and found…read morethis Sobeys. I paid it a visit. There is plenty of parking in front of this store. I parked close to the main entrance and walked in. I do miss having a Sobeys in Markham. This one is large and had everything that I needed. The produce section was great. I needed cucumbers and gone a couple that were on sale. This store has a lot of pre-cut fruit if you are looking for a supermarket shortcut or just don't feel like cutting fruit. With barbeque season being here, there were inflatable ketchup and mayo in front of their respective product displays. I liked the inflatables so much. If they were for sale, I'd probably get them because they looked cool. This place has heat-and-eat quiche and empanadas. I loved looking at this section so much, from meatballs, to rotisserie chicken. The dessert section was deadly. There were lots of whole cakes available. You can also get single slices. The cupcakes looked yummy, too. I got a dozen eggs. I enjoyed the dairy section. The product that opened my eyes wide was Silk whipped cream. I have found that you can get a dairy-free version, but it has sugar in it, or you get one with no sugar, but the dairy is there. This Silk product made me happy. It was both sugar-free and dairy-free. Yay! Each Sobeys is different. This place had kombucha and bubble tea in bottles. I was intrigued with the latter. I'll need to give it a try next time. This store had everything that I needed and more that I wanted! Luckily, I had some self-control during this visit. I got a nice woman who helped me at the cashout area. I had my Air Miles card scanned. I then paid with a debit card. All was great. I loved shopping here. I hope to return when I'm back in the area. (210)

It looked NOTHING like the picture. I kindly asked her to fix it up but she gave me a nasty look. This store does not have good bakers. The place was dirty. I walked in and there was water and food EVERYWHERE. If you are getting a cake DO NOT get it from here.

The regular checkout stations all had recently installed protective barriers because of COVID-19 concerns. Have change ready to unlock a shopping buggy and bring along your reusable grocery bags to do your part for the environment.
