I discovered this place through a Facebook group and am so glad I did! I had the most relaxing facial from Erin in her lovely home studio. I got the Ultra Hydration Facial, which I highly recommend! The bed was super comfy and I loved how she used the steam for most of the facial. All of the products she used were all natural and plant based, so my sensitive skin didn't have any issues with it. My skin had a great glow and radiance after and since then a minor breakout I had cleared. My skin also smelled so nice after. She is also really nice and accommodating and responsive. Received Erin's "Ultra Hydration Facial" after seeing her promote this service on a Facebook group. Erin makes her own plant-based products that she uses during her services. I had a PM appt. scheduled and the room was blasting in the 60s, which was pretty cold, given that her studio is pretty small. At the beginning, Erin briefly explained a few steps of the facial. I would've appreciated this throughout, though. I did however have to ask for a towel about 5-10 minutes in, because I was trying to endure the cold. Her treatment bed is right under her AC vent. She then offered a blanket because she noticed I kept moving. I have previously been given a blanket immediately once a facial has began. Erin did apologize at the end, so I appreciated that. The overall facial was pretty nice; however I was not as fully relaxed as previous facials because I was still pretty cold when she would use a mini fan on my face in between steps. I really like that she used high frequency at the end. She's also quite gentle during extractions. Most facials I've received in the past have included a really short neck/shoulder massage too, and I didn't get that, so I was kind of bummed. I ended up booking through her site and received a text with clear instructions for the day of my appointment, which I appreciated. Erin, the esthetician, met me at the entrance of her yard and walked me to the back where the services take place. The setup is such a cute, cozy studio tucked right into the corner of her backyard...super inviting and peaceful. Before starting, Erin explained what the facial would include, and then she got to work. The whole experience was incredibly relaxing. I also love that she makes all of her products herself and uses all-natural ingredients. It really adds a personal touch. Side note: Metilda is not Erin's name, so don't make the mistake and call her that. The story behind the name is actually really cute. Erin Is an extremely professional and knowledgeable Esthetician. I booked a waxing service and got a same day appointment, the work studio is spotless with a fresh scent and beautifully decorated, the gospel music playing in the background helped me to stay calm and focus on the Lord the waxing isn't that bad. Erin applied pressure and the pain went away. She often checked on my comfort and offered breaks when I needed them. She gave after care instructions do's and don'ts. There's plenty of street parking options. It was a full circle experience, Erin met me at the gate when I arrived and after the service she walked me out and gave me a reminder when to book again. I booked an ultra hydration facial with Erin and my skin thanked me the weeks following. I don't know about you, but with the whole pandemic and everything, I forgot to take care of myself truly, and couldn't, because well, high-risk and a lot of other things. ANYWAYS. I showed up to Erin's cute little studio humble, slightly embarrassed by my clogged pores, but ready for a well-deserved "treat yourself" moment. Off the bat, she informed me that she makes everything that she uses, that it's natural, and asked if I had any allergies. I love that. The entire process honestly could have lasted hours and I'd have gladly laid there in her care. The lighting was perfect, the gospel music was the perfect volume, and the steamer had a lovely essential oil blend going over my face that I could have napped under. Everything was explained to me by Erin, I wasn't suddenly surprised by anything, and everything had such a lovely earthy fragrance to it (not synthetic bubblegum kind of stuff). To be on the extra careful side she completely dumped the water and made me a new mix without the floral parts.
