I think they inject an addictive substance in the clothing. I'm serious.
Points why I should not like Metalicus clothing:
1. Polymide - not a natural substance.
2. Price - expensive.
3. Durability - as most of their trademark clothes are made out of a stretchy, stocking-like material, they can tend to pill and holes appear with upsetting regularity, necessitating darning like an Edwardian shopgirl desperate to make her last pair of stockings last the winter.
4. An unfortunate tendency to break out in pastels on occasion.
Points why I end up buying Metalicus clothing despite myself:
1. They mix and match and layer and go with everything.
2. They actually look better on real people than the models used to advertise them.
3. As they're loose and stretchy they still fit whether your body has an up or down day (or month).
4. They very often have sales which make the prices nearer affordable, yesterday they had a whole bunch with an extra 20% off the already 60% reduced prices. And the staff are lovely.
5. They're so comfortable (and yet stylish) you want to cry. read more
