Versatilidad: Una propuesta que equilibra la tradición con opciones para todos, incluyendo pizzas artesanales y platos con toques modernos como nuestros tacos de steak tartar. I wish i never ate at La Piccola Nostra…read more We decided to come here for our last night of our vacation and it was the worst decision we made. at first the service seemed to be great however, our server quickly ruined the night. we asked for recommendations, he started to go on a long rant about how he can not give us a recommendation because he doesn't know what we like. we asked him to tell us what the best dishes were or if he can he talk about the menu. every restaurant we had been to in Tossa the servers enjoyed taking us through the menu and explaining the concept as well as giving some recommendations for their favorite dishes. our serve spoke excellent english and admitted that he was fluent in english. He started talking about how he likes to drink beer and go to the beach an and look at the stars and again couldn't not give any recommendations about the food at the restaurant that he works at.... he quickly became sarcastic, he walked away and we asked a server who spoke NO english what his recommendations were..... GUESS WHAT?? he was able to answer the question and recommend us food. our ordered were already in and our original server said we could not change it. Our originally server circles back to our table we think to check in with us but he grabs nd snatches the menu off of our table causing my friends phone to hit the floor. our serve was incredibly rude, arrogant, sarcastic, nasty, and had no knowledge of the food. he single handily completely ruined the meal. the things we ordered were bland and had no taste, the tortellini and paella was very good and i would recommend ordering that if u feel like u absolutely need to eat at this restaurant. I do not recommend eating here i would not give this place a second try. and i hope that serve gets the training he needs or maybe the nap he needs to not be such. a grumpy and nasty man. the hosts came over and apologized profusely. we suggest that our serve (he has a mohawk) receive the proper training to be a server, we really hope that he treats other customers with respect and kindness. people have bad days but as an adult you need to learn how to fake the funk. We confirmed with our local friends that the food is SHIT, and the service..... even MORE SHIT 0 stars out of 5 --- SAVE YOUR MONEY AND EAT ELSEWHERE

The place seems to be very popular with crowds queuing up. Actually the most charismatic member of…read morethe staff is the guy in hat that does porter. He and the crowds work well as acquisition tools. The restaurant has 3 spaces. Smaller room to the street on the left, entrance passage and "backyard". That one is biggest, but quite noisy and not very nice. Bit feels like a canteen. The other two spaces are much more pleasant. The food is not bad at all. The one I can highlight is barbecued turbot. But the staff inside is not too attentive, many of them struggle with English and on one visit we ended up with bottle of white wine standing on the table. Previously it was in bucket on ice. The meals are good, but do not ask for any exceptions, that was mostly not feasible. Either because you can not explain it in English or because they are not keen to do it.

Well it took us about that many passes before I finally suggested we stop in for pizza. In addition to the pizza, plenty of fresh produce, herbs, and seafood greet you as you enter, and although plenty spacious, the place was packed! Well off the tourist path, it's clear these folks provide simple, ample, and delicious meals for locals and pssserbys. We were the only folks speaking English (most everyone spoke Catalon) and after some back and forth broken Spanish, our waiter graciously brought us an English language menu. Although embarrassed, we were thankful as one of us speaks basic Spanish and French, but neither of us speak Catalon (but don't get me wrong, we'll try)! Everyone was patience with us dispute the language barrier and we enjoyed picking this and that off the expansive menu, as well as watching the beautifully decorated desserts pass as we waited for our food. The calendar was cooked perfectly, and our pizzas arrive piping hot, freshly plucked from their wood fire ovens. The coulant was delicious and although simple, all of the flavors and textures were spot on. If we find ourselves in the area we'd likely visit again to explore the rest of their menu!

Seeing this we decided to order again the missing pizzas and they made us pay FULL PRIVE again. When you mix up and order higher than 100€ you should do a gesture, just saying... especially when the prices are extremely high for the size of the pizzas...
