I don't know if it was the giant (ACTUAL) tree trunk in the middle of the store, the calming array of houseplants (which, despite my brown thumb for indoor plants, I love so much), the terrarium building bar (again--I would fail miserably but OMG so pretty), the amazing ceramics and planters, the small but excellently curated collection of art supplies (many imported from Japan!) that had me asking myself if I needed more pens, the small batch chocolate bars, and so much more. There are so many cool nooks and crannies here that it took me three passes before I felt like I had seen/considered all my options. In the end I bought 3 plants (and they're all still alive!), two chocolate bars, some stickers, and a few other small bits and bobs. Already yearning for another trip back there! I can't wait!

I am glad I did! If you are an organic gardener they have everything you need here. I'm going to tell all of my neighbors about this place! They also carried the large bag of potting soil to my car so that I didn't have to get dirty.

No big deal, i attempt to leave and a younger associate attempts to help me and I let me know they are out. He looks at me and basically calls me a liar. Walks over a see they are in fact out. I left without a purchase. I decide to give them another chance. I go in looking for economy studs which are popular with any lumber yard. The associate had no idea what I was talking about and gave me the response we only sell premium studs. Ok, see you later Alden lumber... you are a mile from my house and I have a lot of projects. I guess I'll use the big box stores in TC.

We quickly put together a vision and Libby ordered some additional flowers we wanted to make the most beautiful arrangements that represented our family. My dad's flowers were masculine, elegant, lively and modern. Some funeral flowers look so "funeral like" or "old person" but these were so different.
