Everyone is friendly, people are respectful follow their few but necessary park rules and it's a convenient lil town with food options and still only 23 miles to Amarillo. The only review on here I thought was disappointing in my opinion bc they didn't even give the owners the opportunity to rectify the situation. I can't stand seeing that so I posted the truth! It's a lovely lil park and we are very happy we found it!! PS. If you have a dog most campers know to clean up after them and keep your pet leashed. It's quite simple lol.

They are constantly walking through other peoples rented spaces day and night, not peaceful camping when your dog is constantly barking in your rv letting you know people are in the "rented space" like it's their yard too, Full timers let their dogs run free ALL the time to URINATE on everyone's camping stuff,(bbqs, chairs, hoses, landing legs, tires on trailer and vehicles, other peoples personal pet enclosures ) This is more work (now cleaning all dog urine off of everything) when getting packed up to leave .- Full timers find this amusing. The owners were very nice and accommodating, but the full timers running the "park" ruin this place. If rules are written for the RV PARK- EVERYONE should be expected to follow them. No exceptions!!!

Upon arrival we were greeted with fresh, homemade cookies, and warm weather to survey the property. We enjoyed our afternoon at the dock, overlooking the lake, and then enjoyed a nice hike! The weather was warm and sunny- but by the next morning, we had hail, rain, and snow! That morning Rebecca ventured out in the snow to bring us our tasty breakfast! The waffles and eggs and bacon could not be beat! We made our own coffee in the room, plus she provided orange juice in our refrigerator. (She stocks the kitchenette with tea, coffee, cream, and sugar.) By that morning, power was going on and off but they thankfully kept it on with their generators!
