Highly recommendable restaurant!…read more My friend from Santiago reserved this place for us - we were 8 people total - and we had a brilliant evening... We shared a number of dishes, mainly seafood, and these were delicious. The house wine was also good. The portions are abundant... Let the restaurant prepare a variety of desserts to share! Very yummy!!! The setup of the place is typical for this area. Big wooden tables... Stone walls... The ceiling covered with greens (i.e. plants)... Very nice! The service and prices were good. We much enjoyed the live music they played later on with particular instruments.. Galician music and dance! :) Make a reservation to be sure of a table... Also for lunch as this place is usually packed. ;) Enjoy!

You can also enter directly from the Plaza do Obradoiro (e.g., Cathedral Square). After our long drive up from Portugal's Douro Valley and confusing directions on how to get to the Parador, it was great to sit down for a relaxing lunch, in a welcoming atmosphere, and good service. We opted for a series of Galician appetizers and enjoyed everything. And for a Hotel restaurant and a steep exchange rate, prices were not out of line.
