On my third primary care provider at Masa View, the first two were clueless. Current N.P. is kind and wants to help but is inexperienced and has no answers except some new medication. I had to go to the ER in St George because she did not know what I had, they took a look and knew right away, did a MRI to verify. I'll be changing to a primary care in St George. All these Karen's and Terry's complaining about medical services in Mesquite need to understand it's not Las Vegas or Los Angeles. There are not hundreds of doctors in town. If you want special treatment like you're the only patient in town, drive your complaining ass to Vegas or LA. I think the care here in the clinics and hospital are fantastic. read more

Absolutely the worst medical clinic I've ever been to. I would write the doctor on patient portal and only get a reply maybe half the time, I'm being generous. They wanted me to see a hemetologist, but never referred me. When I called to follow up on it; they asked ME if I contacted him myself. I wrote back and told them my insurance requires a referral and pre authorization. NEVER heard back. I went to an appointment once where I was 4 min late. They had me wait in line for 15 minutes (no one in front of me). Then called me up and said they couldn't see me because I was 15 minutes late!! Then had the ordasity yo send me a text and email that; "They were sorry I missed my appointment". WTF!! You made me wait so you could turn me away! Then I have a severe infection and Dr. Gibb stated she chooses not to see me and deal with it. Again, WTF!? So, I saw another provider, PA Catherine King, I was thinking maybe she would be better. I waited a month or so for the appointment. Meanwhile I'm severe pain. She saw it, prescribed a cream and sent me on my way. When I emailed on the patient portal asking mg follow up questions and concerns because the infection is still here and getting worse; all I got back was; follow up with another doctor. The office staff is slow, won't return calls or do anything with the patient portal. I have no idea why they're still operating. Regardless of what they think, they work for their patients. So, I fired the whole clinic! I went to Dr. Kane at IHC and couldn't be more happy! Wish I could give them a zero! read more

After suffering through swine flu two years ago, recovery was taking a while. When I noticed a suspicious rash in my throat during my spring break, I had to head to the nearest doctor. Mesa View provided me with immediate timely and courteous service, even performing a strep test on the spot with results in minutes! I would return here anytime! read more

Absolutely the worst medical provider I've ever seen. And I was in the military! If you have a problem with lab work or a prescription, you're on your own. Good luck trying to get someone to answer the phone. Lab tests? This is where they shine. Especially charging your insurance company for tests that they didn't do. Doctors come and go. I really like this Medical Group. Good Doctors and efficient staff.

This has turned into one of the worst medical clinics since several good doctors have left. I have been visiting Mesa View for 10 years and currently see Dr. Joseph Jeppson. I wrote my last review on 5/1/2019 but now as a stage 4 cancer patient my doctor (according to the staff) has turned into some kind of vanishing Dr, with only 6 appearances per month. All the other times he is out of the office. Besides that, the staff is the most incompetent I have ever come across. I am sure they would like to pass the blame on the patient but being a cancer patient and having to go to Intermountain Hospital and doctors for several services only highlights the ridiculously poor service which they are allowed to provide. In over seventy-five dealings with (staff, nurses, volunteers, and the doctors themselves have resulted in ZERO issues. They always go out of their way to help regardless of their assigned job. The same for Dr. Wells at Desert Pain Specialists. Staff, Doctors, and PA's have been stellar. If I can have that many occasions to meet and talk to that many different people, I find it hard to believe I am at fault at Mesa View. I have serious thoughts that the doctor never even sees my comments, but if they are more shame on him. Not one time have I ever waited more than 40 minutes for a return call and most were answered by a human the first time. At Mesa View, the DR.'s asst has a standing 24-48 wait (and don't leave duplicate calls) message wait times and it states that in the call. I had no problems with Dr. Jeppson until his wife died of Cancer and it soured him on caring. I can't speak of his hospital service, but these are exact quotes from his staff and them. "If you don't like our service go to a pain clinic" When I told the Dr about my cancer his reaction was "so it happens to everyone" (granted I did not know his wife died of it three months prior, but my point is this is not how doctors and staff should treat their patients. In a town with an ever-increasing average age, this is not the staff to treat them. I want to share an experience I had with Mesa View Medical Group. On August 26 I went in for my yearly exam. I saw a new physician with the group and was pleased with my visit. She ordered several tests which I had done at Mesa View Medical center. Several days later the Doctor's assistant called with the results of two of the test. She said they did not have the results of the third test. Two weeks past and I had not heard so I used their message system to ask if they had the results. No results yet. Another week passed and I messaged again .I got a message back saying they did not have the results and that I should check with the hospital to get them. Really!!! You don't follow up on test results that you order? So on Monday Sept. 23 I went to medical records at the hospital got the results, made a copy and took them to the clinic. The receptionist said she would get them to the assistant. I messaged the assistant to tell her that the results had been given to the receptionist. She messaged me back saying that she had them and that I would get a call the next day. Well, that did not happen so a week later and still no results . So yesterday I messaged again. Today I get a message that the doctor just got them on Monday Sept. 30. and that I need to make an appointment to get the results. (Where were they for a week????) Being a medical professional this experience concerns me. The results of the test I have been waiting for indicates that I need to be on medication for the issue. It is not life threatening but what if it was? Since when do patients have to get their own test results ?? Would someone without a medical background even know to follow through to get results? I left a message for the manager at the clinic but of course I have not heard from him so I felt the need to post this review .
