Based in Penylan, their dedicated and efficient staff will travel to all areas of Cardiff, getting your home or office to its just-moved-in cleanliness (and saving you and your beloved from throttling each other over household duties. Save that mess for financial or loyalty-related arguments). Their attention to detail is outstanding, plus, from what I've heard, it's difficult to find cleaners you can trust, and I've never once had any problems with them. I've since moved on to both a different partner and a different flat, so I don't require their services anymore, but I managed to convince my boss to book them for a weekly office-cleaning when asked if I knew of a reputable cleaning company. And again, we've been happy every time - the lovely ladies even fluff the couch cushions! And with two people cleaning for £25 an hour (which is enough time to comfortably clean a two-bedroom flat), Shiny House offers value for money in addition to superior services.

Absolutely dreadful service. I paid for 4 hours' cleaning as a one-off. The cleaner I was sent was…read morevery young and obviously inexperienced. Many of the jobs were not done, and those that were done, were done very poorly. Surfaces were still covered in dust, the hoovering had been done slap-dash, mirrors were so dirty you could barely see yourself in them, kitchen cupboards left dripping and streaked. The house did not appear any cleaner than when I had left it that morning. In addition, 2 rugs had had some kind of cleaning fluid poured onto them which had left stains. The company took these away to clean them. I called the company to discuss and the owner and the same cleaner came around the next day to rectify. The clean was done again, and was slightly better but still not of a good standard. When the rugs were returned, the stain had come out of one but stayed on the other. I have since had an email from the company stating that they are not willing to reclean or pay for a replacement. Save yourself the money and hassle of dealing with this unprofessional outfit.
