Used Merry Maids previously. They did an adequate cleaning job. Two weeks ago made an appointment to clean another home today. Yesterday they confirmed the appointment for today. Today they no showed. I called said they would have Nathan call me as he was owner that confirmed the appointment. I called his cell. 9 Hours later no call back even though when I called back his office said he would call me back. I have folks coming to see the rental home tomorrow and Merry Maids FLAKED on me. NEVER again. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL read more

I had been a Merry Maids customer for over 4 years. The new owner, however, just increased my rate by over 20%! When I spoke to him, he said he needed to due to increased costs in gasoline and in order to attract and retain staff. While I'm sympathetic to those challenges, I live alone and have a very easy house to clean. It would only take them about an hour to complete the job. The new pricing would have put me at around $1450 a year for once a month cleanings. Being retired and in a fixed income, this has priced me out. I will now either clean myself or go with the multiple options I've now identified on Angie Clean and Care.com at HALF Merry Maids' new charges. I encourage everyone to shop around. Merry Maids is no longer the reasonably priced cleaning service it once was, under the former owner. read more

Outstanding service! Committed employees who don't cut corners and go above and beyond

Just relocated to the area and was looking for a new cleaning company. Owner came out to give an estimate and girls showed up the following week as scheduled and on time. They went over the notes the owner had taken and did everything on the list. I think as long as you go over everything with them and are home during at least the first cleaning, they will do a great job. Communication has been great with them thus far. So far, so good. Have already booked regular cleaning service. read more

I'm not gonna lie, I was embarrassed about how I left my house for the maid. It was a mess due to my whole family being sick and lack of time to prepare for them. They are not responsible for the dishes and certain aspects of house cleaning. Linda, with Merry Maids in Little Rock, came and totally went above and beyond. This is the third cleaning with Merry Maids and the second time they have blown me away. She was kind, and filled up my dish washer even though that is not a part of her job. I like to know who is cleaning my house and while I have had different people on all 3 occasions, the work has varied from good to incredible. Thanks again... Rebecca Vukmirovic read more

This is a GREAT home cleaning group. The owner came out to my house last month to give me an estimate and explain their programs (one-time, weekly, monthly, etc) and was very professional and charming. He immediately put me at ease to the thought of having "strangers" come in to my home, and went over all of the details of their process. When he gave me the estimate, it was very reasonable. Less than the competition in this market (those guys didn't even come out - just gave me a "ballpark" quote over the phone). So, today was the day. My first-ever "Maid Day". The appointment-setter called beforehand, confirmed the time the that team would be there, and two lovely ladies were right on time. They came with all of their own equipment and cleaning products, walked the house with me to see exactly what I wanted done, and within 2 1/2 hours they were done. A supervisor stopped by to check on the appointment, and was very pleasant. I asked her for a few extra cards to hand out to my neighbors, who I KNEW would be interested, - after I tell them how happy I was. The house looks and smells wonderful. The baseboards were cleaned, framed photos were dusted, and everything was back in their original place. The details they covered were terrific (things I hardly ever get to!), and I am excited about having family over next week for Thanksgiving instead of stressed. Oh, and by the way, I have two large indoor dogs who shed everywhere. Dog hair and smell is even gone - at least for now. Thank you, Merry Maids - I look forward to next month. You have made me very satisfied! read more

I had back surgery and need someone to clean my house every other week. I e-mailed Merry Maids and the same day a lady came out to do a walk through and give me an estimate. That evening, she emailed me with all the details. They are scheduled to come every other Tuesday. On Monday afternoon, the service calls me with a reminder. I was impressed with the first cleaning. They exceeded my expectations by far. I didn't expect the cleaning to be so detailed, but I must admit, it is cleaner than when I clean myself. I can't remember the last time my house was this clean. I highly recommend them. read more

My Merry Maids are friendly, professional, and very diligent at what they do. Thank you so much for a wonderfully cleaned home..

Great service....house was spotless. I went from a one time user to a monthly user after one cleaning.

Horrific experience. I ordered deep cleans for our 2 1/2 bathrooms. They came in, left the half untouched, cleaned the toilets only in both upstairs bathrooms, and then *rearranged my room*! Not wanting to create a ruckus, I assumed a breakdown in communication and called the office. They arranged for the same girl (who I believe was new) to come out with an experienced cleaner the next day at 11am. First they showed up two hours early, when it was in no way a good time to do the job. Later when I called back, they promptly arrived to do the job. They cleaned all of the bathrooms, but merely wiped the tub, leaving all of the dirt and yuck in place that I had called them out to "deep clean" in the first place. When I complained, the secretary insisted that they used Hospital Grade Bleach and that the experienced cleaner had called to say they couldn't get it off. I then emailed her the before and after pics of their "work" before and my work "after" with a bottle of store-bought Clorox Disinfecting Bleach Foamer (it was easily cleaned and took 10 minutes). She was apologetic and informed me I would receive a discount. Later in the evening (5 minutes before writing this) I walk into my upstairs bathroom to find someone left the pipe to the toilet loose, and my floor is covered in water. Merry Maids in Little Rock is a terrible business that hires questionable people that do not belong in your house. Stay far away. read more

Purchased a Groupon for housecleaning services. A representative came for a consultation. I expressed how important it was that my floors be mopped since this is normally my husbands job. Since he's been sent to Pakistan for 2 years I needed help. I was told they would send 2 people, and all floors would be mopped, baseboards dusted, and many other basic cleaning services. They sent 1 person, who was there for under 2 hours in a 2300 sf home. No floors were mopped, no baseboards dusted. Spoke with an employee who said a manager would call me back & set up for them to come and redo the cleaning of my home. I still have yet to receive that call. I submitted a complaint directly to the Merry Maids corporation. It's been over a month and still have not received a response. This is completely BAD business. Will let everyone know that this company has no customer service whatsoever. read more
