Beware. Was told a team would be coming for a first time clean, top down, baseboards and blinds, etc. One individual showed up. Hardly any dusting. Blinds and baseboards weren't touched. Mirrors weren't wiped. Mold and mildew left in main shower. When approached cleaner was told they didn't have anything in their kit but they could call the office to see what cleaner they were allowed to use for it. Asked for fan blades to be hit. The bottoms were but not the tops. All that was wiped was left on my couch from everything that was wiped off the bottom of the fan blades. Microwave was touched on outside not inside. Floors were a once over. When speaking to Bill was told we don't do two people just one individual. Told we signed off on everything stating we were happy with everything. We were MADE to sign all forms BEFORE cleaning began and nothing after cleaner had finished. Asked about mold and mildew and was told due to the caustic nature of the products they don't use them but that WE could use something like X14. Bill did offer to send the same cleaner back the next day and we could have a list ready to go of everything we wanted. We declined and stated we would be going a different route. I will attest to the fact that Bill did offer to remedy what we felt should have been done but by then the damage had been done. I didn't feel as though sending the same individual back the next day would be best for either party. They do reach out to you quickly it's just not the type of cleaning one would desire. It's disappointing to wind up cleaning your house after having paid someone to do it already. read more

I arranged for weekly cleaning to begin immediately after Christmas. January, no one came to clean. Now it's February and still no one has come to clean. Do you suppose they were abducted by aliens. Is the truth out there? read more

Hired them to clean a bathroom and room I moved into. There was urine everywhere so I hired them to "deep clean" as that's what I read they did. I cleaned the toilet, sink, etc except the urine before they came. I briefly looked at the work and signed the paper at the end cause I was in a rush, that's on me, I know. But after I had a chance to look there was still urine everywhere. I call them and they say they don't clean urine? Who advertises deep cleaning a bathroom but doesn't clean urine? So consider this a warning if you want a bathroom actually cleaned and not "polished". Waste of $100 for me. Would've thought they would clean the bedroom more than just mop the floor. Would not recommend unless you just want your floor mopped or something... they were nice though. read more

I should have read the reviews. On their site there are pictures of people wiping down baseboards, vacuuming, etc. I was told they would "Spot clean" walls and baseboards as needed, vacuum, clean under the couches, clean toilets and clean the shower with a "spin brush". The girls arrived and were very nice. Bill arrived behind them to instruct them as if this was their first cleaning. Probably a red flag, but we are moving and really needed it thoroughly cleaned ASAP. We left while the girls spend two and a half hours cleaning.... when I returned, they walked me through the house to inspect. I have two kids out of school today, one who struck a fever while we were out, and it was snowing outside, so I regret that I didn't look closer until I had my little girl in bed after they left. The fans are very half-a** dusted. Our area rug in the living room was not touched with a vacuum. The kid's shower wasn't cleaned AT ALL! In fact, I think they poured some white powder on the faucet to give the smell of cleaning chemicals. The toilets weren't cleaned. The baseboards, the main reason I needed them, were NOT touched. They DID sweep and mop the hardwood floors, wipe down my counter tops and sinks, clean the microwave, wipe the front of my appliances, wiped the windows, and make our beds. I basically paid them $200 to do what I could've done alone, and have actually done alone, in one hour. I'm super disappointed. The realtor is coming same day, so it was worth it to try and clean the rest myself. I wouldn't recommend them. The girls were so nice, I hate to leave this review. But I didn't pay $200 for the company to be nice. read more

If I could give these people -5 that is what I would give them. We contracted for a deep cleaning and did not even get a very light cleaning. They did not clean around the bottom of the toilet bowls. They wiped off the cabinets apparently with a dirty rag and just smeared dirt. They were to clean the blinds and they wiped the blinds from one side and left dirt caked on the end of each blind. The bathtub in the master bathroom was never even touched. We paid for a deep cleaning which was $189. Two girls were in our home for two hours. When they were done they called us to come over to inspect it. When we saw the terrible job they had done we called Bill the owner to voice our concerns. Apparently Bill just told the girls to leave which they did. Bill never came over to look at our home and never saw that the girls did not do the job they were contracted to do. I would never ever ever recommend this company to anyone. read more

Paid the fee for the "complete" cleaning since it was the first time they would be at my house. The cleaning was surface at best, they broke a figurine and offered nothing to replace it and weren't even apologetic. Did not bother to have them come back. Very poor service. read more

Paid for a detailed cleaning of an empty house. They were suppose to wash the baseboards and the windows along with full cleaning of all cabinets, kitchen and baths. They only ran a broom around baseboards and broke 2 of my window blinds. They were suppose to be there for 4 hours and left after 3. They did not even dust the one built in bookcase that was left in the empty house. They also put pine sol on the beautiful hardwood floors after the owner told me they would be using Bona. Very unprofessional job and when I called Bill the owner he was extremely rude. Other Merry Maids franchises may be good but I would not recommend using the one in Chattanooga. read more
