The teachers are great however I had to…read moretake my daughter out of the school. 1) I'm sure all teachers are aware the school has camera installed which parents pay I believe $25 I think. One day I decide to check in on my little one to see how she was doing and when I log in they were in the play ground. 30 seconds in I see one of the teachers push my daughter (pushing meaning for what reason she was playing with her friends and the teacher came up and push her in the back of her shoulders) and walked away. I came into the school and spoke with one of the teachers and she didn't know what I was talking about and told me it never happened. 2) my daughter came home one day with a small bruise on her head, I came in the next day asking for a report and hey couldn't provide one to me. They said it probably happened at home. 3) the owners wife Sarah I believe her name was is a very rude person. She doesn't have any customer service and doesn't smile or say hi to you when parents passes by. I signed my child up because I toured with John and he reinsure me they take pride in they school and teachers. Unfortunately the accident report was the last straw for me, because this is a nice school.

The director never apologized or asked how our child was doing. We watched the video of the incident. During the meeting it was implied that our kid was to blame because he (3 years old toddler),didn't share the toy with another kid who tried to take it from him. That's when the classmate ran from a few steps away and bit. Our kid never had any aggressive behavior before or even after being bitten. It was stated that bites are a normal part of preschool, just like getting sick. Since there was no plan moving forward to prevent this from happening again, we had to remove our kid.

I agree with those reviews…read more We had tried BBI, a much more strict and expensive school, but one of our boys was being bullied by both the teachers and students. He was frequently left out, sent to sit with the office manager (bc the director was never there), called names, and accused of having bad intentions for simple accidents or misunderstandings, which only made him less interested in participating. After that horrible experience, my main objective in searching for a school was finding caring teachers. I found caring teachers at Kids. My active child is no longer being publicly shamed for doing silly things like a yoga stretch in the classroom. Both of my boys' personalities are accepted and cherished, and they are both doing well at Kids. The VPK classroom keeps Kindergarten preparation fun and effective. They offer a weekly Soccer Shots class for an additional fee that combines the ages, starting at age 2. They also have an optional yoga class and optional pizza day. Sometimes they have events like pajama day, or events inspired by the books they were reading like a breakfast party for reading If You Give a Pig A Pancake. Another good thing about Kids is that they are very transparent, posting the curriculum and books they are reading, as well as welcoming parents at any time. I believe the teachers have a good balance of enforcing classroom rules and being patient and understanding enough to support a child who is still learning how to follow those rules.
