I appreciate that they never seem to be bothered by my questions and love the time that they spend to explain a procedure. It's a little weird I know, butt one of my favorite things here is the amount of technology that they use to monitor and track the patients. Right by the dental chair, you can view a computer screen that shows your teeth, x-rays, stats, measurements, notes, and your horoscope (probably not but you get the idea). Seeing the health of your teeth so clearly would help to comfort even the most nervous patient. If you're looking for a dentist, I think you'll appreciate the services here!

And all I can say now at the end of my work day is I'm still thinking about how excellent that appointment made me feel. First things first, every staff member I've interacted with since I've been coming here has had impeccable smiles. My gosh, I can almost see Christinas' teeth from outside the door, (Which says more than you think, if you know what the door looks like). This tells me they take pride in what they do everyday. From a patients POV, there's no better feeling I could hope for after waking up for my dental appointment at 6am...the sooner I feel good about how my day is gonna go, the better. & trust me they waste no time making you feel welcome. It took all of two minutes to get to the back, (wow), get seated, and have Dania start my X-rays. She was also my hygienist today so that also made things convenient. I spent the majority of my time with her today, and as always another member of Dr, Shivelys staff shined brightly into my mouth and performed impeccably. She even told me she was new, and had she not said that, I wouldn't have noticed. She was very informative, very personable, and maybe...just maybe, passionate about her line of work. I joke, but the truth is that's not an attitude I can expect to be expressed or shared amongst most medical professionals...or anyone I know for that matter. So thank you Dania, It made my day. Next up, the man himself walks in, does his thing with my teeth and goes over treatment with me. Right to the point. Fully honest and specific to me. I mean it's hard to put any other way than by saying he gives me exactly what I want from a dental practitioner. A true professional who exceeds my expectations. Thank you as well sir. You have made life easier. Hopefully this man never leaves his practice, because he's good, he's quick, and has an excellent staff with flawless smiles. I love that!! They take me up front and i had been giving a price for the exam i was getting, then overcharged me for it, and they asked again what "membership" (idk if that was the exact word they used tbh, it was a pay monthly thing) anyway, i told them i'd pay monthly and the front desk lady went and got 2 more ladies just to tell me that i couldnt pay in cash for pay monthly and that i'd have to pay the whole thing up front, me being a kid at that time didnt know what to do so i gave them my money and never went back. I feel like i was taken advantage of, it being my first time at the dentist alone and them giving me false prices, and apparently not taking debit cards.

Epperson Payne has been my dentist since moving to Lubbock five years ago. They have done…read morecleanings, crown replacement and most recently a new implant and replacement of an old implant from a different Dentist that needed adjusting. My regular Dentist is Jordan Payne and my implant Dentist was Travis Epperson. The entire staff is super friendly and happy to help. My last appointment yesterday was with Dr. Epperson and his assistant Braelyn to install my newest implant. The entire procedure was pain free. Braelyn did an excellent job getting me prepped for Dr Epperson to finish up. I walk out very satisfied and would 100% recommend the Epperson Payne Dental Group.

My nurse and I talked of his awsome bed side manner and he is such a fun pleasent down to Earth man straight forward, to the point and does his job the best he can.
