Horrible service in the front office and flaws found on my car. I sent my car to them through an…read moreinsurance claim to get the front left bumper and headlight housing fixed. Got my car back a week later with the bumper and headlight housing fixed, but found three separate spots on my hood that had bubbling and the paint was raised. I voiced concerns on the spots that were found and was immediately shut down and told that it's from bird poop, or due to corrosion (my car is only a 2019), and also that "I must've just not noticed it before". I know for a fact that these were not here prior and even have pictures to prove. My pictures weren't "good enough" for them to tell when it's clear in every picture I had and pictures they even had when they first got the car to the shop that there were no spots to be found. I am a 5'3 100lb female and the man(Emmet) AND woman(Candy) in the front office both apparently felt the need to talk to me with disrespect and aggression right away, they both cussed at me telling me I was wrong, and at one point the man(Emmet) started to approach me aggressively getting in my face and pointing his finger in my face for simply pointing the spots out and stating that they weren't there prior to me bringing the car in. Candy and Emmet both refused to apologize to me and refused to fix the car. This will be the first and last time I will use Pools body shop due to the disrespect, aggression, and flaws found on my car. I will not be referring anyone to this establishment either since I now know they are NOT trustworthy or professional whatsoever.

After some minor paint damage happened to my car, I took it to Dacus for an estimate. They…read moreperformed the estimate and sent it to me, and then I provided it to my insurance company - all good so far. After insurance processed it, we received a check for $500 less than what the claim had been. I called the insurance company to ask why this was, and they said that Dacus had agreed to do the work for the lower price, so with my deductible and the check they had sent I would be good to go. I called Dacus to schedule to work, however they surprised me: They said they didn't care what they had agreed to with the insurance company, they would be charging me the full price on the original estimate, and probably more, and I would just have to eat what insurance didn't cover. Thankfully, I called my insurance and was able that check voided (it was addressed to the body shop), and found another body shop that agreed to do the work at the price that Dacus had agreed to do it for before they tried to make me pay the original estimate price out of pocket. The insurance company had the documentation that Dacus had agreed to do the work for that lower price, email trail and everything, so Dacus apparently thought they would just agree to the lower price and then get some extra money on top out of me. No thanks.
