My whole family has always gone to the dentist regularly and some of us had cavities too. None of us have any sort of fear or phobia of the dentist. My brother, sister & I also had braces, sister had caps, mom had false teeth implants and everything else under the sun. So to say that we are still more than willing and happy to go to the dentist saying something I think. Dr. Burwinkel is nice, calm, does not have a rough hand while working in your mouth, and like many dentists he will ask you a question or two when you can't answer :D
