Not only is their service mobile, they create a spa-like experience in whatever space you feel comfortable. It's been amazing to have a massage, in my home either outside or inside. The reality is I've been stressed since the 3rd grade AND I have been blessed with some amazing friends and family. Therefore I have been gifted some really exquisite massage experiences in my life. So I am not bragging, I am simply giving background. I have had massages at The St. Regis in Aspen, several Ritz Carltons, The Four Seasons, Bella Collina, and even some smaller local spas....nothing compare to my afternoon with Body-Mind Connection in Sarasota. This massage took place in a yurt. My husband on the massage table next to me. There were no robes, no champagne. I didn't have to sign any paperwork. I got to talk about me. There was no trying to cover up anything. You could hear some construction off in the distance, you could hear birds, you could hear wind and wind chimes, I even heard some rock music off in the distance. It was so REAL. Trying to relax in a real environment is so much better than a contrived spa. I never would have thought. But it makes so much sense. The PRESSURE to relax in a spa is tewwww much. This was simple. This was perfect. Besides being a completely transformative experience, it was scientifically one of the best massages I have ever had. My armpits and hip flexors were two areas that benefited the most. In addition my neck and temples were given a serious workout (in a good way). After my massage I was given feedback on ways I can improve my posture, and decrease inflammation. He suggest doing the plow pose and holding for 5 minutes daily. Over the course of 7 weeks I only had 2. my 1st…read moreappt was canceled by Brenda (sick) 2nd appt she texted me night before trying to reschedule it for later, when I said that would not work she kept the appt, however she showed up 20 minutes later than scheduled start time. *she tells you to be there 15 minutes early. So I waited for her for 35 minutes. My 3rd appt was canceled by Brenda (sick again) 4th appt was done however she was 10 minutes late and I arrived 15 early so I waited 25 minutes. My last appt was scheduled for a 10am start time. Brenda texted me at 9.35 stating she was running behind and wanted to make appt for 10:30. I said no and asked for a partial refund for my elderly mother who was trying to give me a great gift with the massage certificates. When I told Brenda I would not come back she then insisted she would be there by 10. I still said no due to all of the other. Then she actually said she did her best to Accommodate me?! Accommodating me would have meant not trying to move the apptointment at all? Every appt with her was a problem, the 2 massages I did get she was late, the room was not ready or warm, and her heating pads etc.. were not warm. She was not prepared at all. She tells you to arrive 15 minutes prior to appt time to be ready and keep her on schedule. At first she said she would not refund my mom, then she said she would. My mother has not received any refund yet so I do not know if she will keep her worrd or not? In texts with Brenda I explained her unreliability was not acceptable and I noted that her talking non stop through the 2 massages that I did have was not helpful for relaxation, and during my 2nd appt she actually spent part of the time complaining to me about her massage cream supplier. Her reply to my feedback was that she always has clients that cancel on her or show up late. Implying I should accept her not respecting my time because her other clients do the exact same thing to her. *I never canceled an appt or showed up late. The last one I just refused to keep do to all the previous issues. As far as her complaining about her massage cream supplier she doubled down in text saying she had every right to complain as no one refunds her and the supplier is not calling her back. Which again may be the case, but none of that is my problem and it is not professional to complain to a client during their time in my opinion. I feel that since she was prepaid for 6 visits total, my time was not important to her, she had nothing to prove since she already been paid in full. Whatever the reason I was never able to get the benefit or enjoy my mothers gift to me. I do not feel as if Brenda held herself accountable for this. All she gave me was excuses to justify her behavior and tried to guilt me for not showing more grace... after 7 weeks of being treated like my time was expendable, she expected more 'grace' from me. Then she asked me to return the 4 unused gift certificates. Eye roll, as if I was going to try and sneak one past her. I returned them all to her promptly and in person. I would not recommend her and I will never go back.
