Fresh fruits, fresh vegetables outside, and inside there are too many stores to list that sell breads, cakes, cheeses ( I have never seen so much cheese in my life!!), meats of all kinds, beef, pork, lamb, fish, ..... and cooked food!!! No need to restaurants deliveries, there is everything here if you don't want to cook. But I am just a tourist.....

Americans will be shocked by the diversity of meat there (they have duck heads/rabbit/horse meat). We recommend taking a food tour like Taste of Toulouse to fully take in the best foods they have to offer! The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. If you want to eat at the restaurants upstairs, make sure you arrive early (~11:45 am) so you can get an outside seat. Bonne dégustation :)
