This is a wonderful vetinary practice and I cannot recommend highly enough…read more Not only have they been consistently good with my pet rats (which a lot of vets do not particularly enjoy treating as they have a lack of experience with them) but they were always exceptionally good with my last cat. She was a rescue cat who had a lot of health problems and they treated her beautifully. At the end of her life she developed kidney failure and we were given the option of euthanising her. I asked if there was any chance of keeping her alive for longer and the vet told me that they could keep her going a few more days but that if it were her own cat, she would put to sleep as the pain and discomfort was so intense that my cat would have no quality of life left. Bearing in mind that the practice could easily have made another £500 for keeping my cat alive for an extra few days, I was incredibly pleased that they chose not to go down this route but instead made the whole process so easy and calming - we really couldn't have asked for a better experience, considering the circumstances. Wonderful vets, wonderful reception staff and a lovely calm, clean environment. Defintiely recommended to all!

They provided round the clock care for the remaining 3 pups who are now doing very well. Provided timely updates on the pups who were in critical condition when they went into their inpatient care. My dog was picked up by the dog warden late afternoon on Friday 9th May. I was flying out to Spain…read moreearly on the 10th. He was taken to Sundown Kennels in Poulton, Old Mill Lane. My friend contacted the kennels on Monday 12th May and explained the situation and that I would collect him on my return. They said it would not be a problem. I phoned to collect him on Monday 19th May and was told he had been re-homed the previous day. The lady I spoke to was very rude and said there was nothing I could do, she denied my friend explaining the circumstances and said it was his word against hers. My dog is microchipped and registered at Vets 4 Pets in Lytham St Annes. I was not contacted at all. Was he scanned, which they should have done?? So they re-homed him after 8 days????? They will not give me any details as to his whereabouts or whether he was scanned. I would strongly advise anybody not to deal with these kennels, its a disgrace, my dog was not a stray and they clearly did nothing to find out where he belonged. I have posted this comment on numerous websites, the local radio and I will be going to the Gazette. It was my disabled sons dog and he is absolutely distraught. Disgusting. If your pet is ever placed in these kennels, say bye bye to it.

The staff were very caring and helpful and considerate to us humans as well as to our animals! Always helpful staff and the prices they charged were very reasonable prices too - cheaper than other places nearby. They have their own private parking outside the surgery and so everything is easy and convenient. We have not experienced any problems or complications with them at all and will quite happily use them again if and when the need arises

I picked it up and searched in vain for a nest. Finally tucked it into a tea towel and looked up local vets. Found Archway but it was closed for bank holiday, so I called the emergency number and left a message, fully aware that the vet may not return a nutty call to a US mobile at 5 on bank holiday about a bird. Ten minutes later he called and said he would be there within 15 minutes. Doctor checked my sad find and explained that it was much too small to survive but he would euthanize it to keep it from suffering. I apologized for calling him on his holiday and he was so kind about it. I tried to pay but he said they don't charge for wildlife calls. He was sincere and compassionate and professional. I'm glad I met him even though I'm sad for the poor bird who never got to live and sorry I shortened such a nice man's holiday.

So far I have found them to offer a great service which compared to others seems reasonably priced. They open late of a few days a week which is great if you work 9-5. It's difficult to get appointments at the weekend though as they reserve it for emergencies, which if you're working all week isn't very helpful. Getting there can also sometimes be an issue. Its located at the entrance of the industrial estate so appointments around 9am and 5pm are a NIGHTMARE I suggest avoiding these time slots at all costs!
