I have had the WORST experience I have ever had with a clinic in my entire life. DO NOT GO HERE. I…read moremet with Dr. Barmat back in August after I had transferred my two remaining embryos here for a transfer. He seemed great, had great reviews. I reached out to the medical team after to start Lupron as discussed with Dr. Barmat. At that time Amy reached back out and told me we wouldn't start Lupron until I ovulated which I thought was strange because I thought I had just started Lupron once I got my period with my last successful transfer with another clinic but I thought well maybe I'm wrong. A week before I start my period she messages me in the portal (doesn't call me) and says whoops, actually you're supposed to start with your period, I ordered it. Well, then I needed a prior authorization which no one took the time to find out if I needed it. I had to then tell them to submit the prior auth, then it was at a pharmacy not contracted with my insurance so I had to have them send it to the right pharmacy, then it was down to the wire and I barely got the medicine in time to start when I needed it. Then, I leave a message for the office manager, wanting a different nurse, I don't get a call back. In the meantime, I have to request that a prior authorization get filed for the transfer, then I have to call my insurance several weeks later to get the prior auth pushed through so that Kindbody can receive it. The office manager never calls me back. In the meantime, dr barmat just up and quits. No one says why. They get this new doctor, Dr. Cain, in there who has much poorer reviews overall online, and are surprised when I ask to meet her (by the way, they are still trying to charge me for my meeting with dr, barmat and I assume will charge me for this meeting with dr Cain to, even though dr barmat quit three weeks after I met with him and never did anything). Like yes, I would like to meet with the doctor who is going to be performing procedures on me and handling my precious embryos that I paid 40k for to make sure she knows me as a patient and understands my treatment plan. Why that even had to be a question is literally beyond my comprehension. So, by this point, I've been taking Lupron for over a month with another month to go so I'm already in this and don't have a choice to back out. Lupron is very hard on the body and is not something you want to take more than you need. They reach out to me and tell me my FET will be at the end of November which doesn't make sense because I will be done with Lupron by November 3rd and was under the impression that I would then start estrogen, when my lining was thick enough in a week, then start progesterone, and transfer by mid-November. That's what Dr. Barmat told me when I met with him and I told him I wanted the transfer exactly like it had been before when I conceived my son. So, I'm unsure how it's going to be possible to transfer at the end of the month if I'm done with Lupron on November 3rd. So I reach out to try to talk to someone. No one calls me back. I cannot get a hold of anyone. They are always "with a patient" when you call. I leave a second message for the office manager who also never returns any calls. In the meantime, a random pharmacy messages me asking when my start date is and for my name. I have no idea what this is for bc no one has communicated anything about a pharmacy reaching out for any medicine and no one will call me back. No one even writes you back on the portal. I have little faith this will even work at this point. I'm going to waste my only girl embryo here and it sucks. The nurses are incompetent. When they reached out to me about the cycle batches they asked me when my cycle starts. They do not even know that I'm on Lupron or that I don't have a cycle on Lupron. I'm literally just a number to them. If that's the way you want to feel going through IVF, by all means, proceed. But it's not what I wanted.
